In order to clarify any doubt about the veracity of the accounts...... Widow of fallen soldier hits out at Trump - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-41724827 Surprise, surprise - guess who was lying (as usual) Edit...... And Trump has now gone public on Twitter, effectively calling the soldiers mother a liar!! ****!!
And the Tories' desperate descent into Trumpublicanism is complete. "I'm winding up Leftists! I must be good, mustn't I? " ****ing idiot.
What are the culinary differences between German and Turkish donor kebab ?? Does the German one zealously make itself comply with a mountain of EU food regulations ??
Good news for America...I think: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news.../24/kid-rock-says-senate-campaign-was-a-stunt
Trump supporter yells out "hang him" when war hero John McCain is mentioned at Trump/Bannon bullcrap rally.
Trump doesn't have that many good days, except in his own mind, but today is not going well even on that scale.... Jeff Flake: Republican senator quits with attack on Trump - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-41743473 With Corker also on the attack, drawing the usual amateurish Twitter responses from his Dumpfness, he is also verbally assailed by a protestor in The Senate with calls for him to be impeached for Treason. One day he might get the message and **** off!
Looks like some of the Republicans are actually turning against Trump. Do they know what's coming or have they finally found a backbone? Senator Jeff Flake had this to say as part of his speech, as he confirmed that he wouldn't stand for re-election: "We were not made great as a country by indulging or even exalting our worst impulses, turning against ourselves, glorying in the things which divide us, and calling fake things true and true things fake." Lots of rather uncomplimentary comments about the President, who he referred to by office, but not by name.
Great minds, mate (U And who do the BBC roll out to add balance? Sebastian Gorka no less!! A man who falsely elevated his own CV, lied to the media by default and defended Trump at all costs for his pal Steve Banning. His recent absence from view (at least over here) has been very welcome, but it appears he's kept himself busy - lying about his White House departure!! https://www.mediamatters.org/blog/2...flim-flam-man-sebastian-gorka-resigned/217799
Massive profits at Lloyds shock http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-41746275 ... now that the bank has been returned to private ownership. No, it's not because the private sector manages it better (the Government ridiculously pretty much let them manage themselves while under state ownership). But there's several questions here aren't there. The basic one is that the private sector takes the risk and makes the profit, whilst the public cover the risk and effectively remove it now that banks are not allowed to fail. So we cover the losses and the first results back in private control indicate a lot of money was there. So could more money have been diverted back to the people that saved the bank (us!) before it went private, or was it put back into private control too cheaply, was it managed badly when the state was in control and how was the date of returning to private control decided? Lots we don't know, but the general feeling is that the whole process wasn't managed very well, or in the best interest of the public that put so much into saving the bank.
Jeremy ...Hunt had a bit of a meltdown on Twitter yesterday. First he led with some skewed figures that had been debunked months ago... Which inevitably led to him being called out on his bullshit by a remarkably large number of people, including several NHS professionals Being a Tory, of course he couldn't admit he was wrong and instead decided the best use of his time would be to start mocking the serfs who dared question him Which went as well as could be expected... Did he stop there? Oh no, he thought he was winning so carried on... And, again, nobody was having it Of course he demonstrated his suitability for his role earlier this morning with the following tweet ...only to have it swiftly pointed out to him that he doesn't even know the Twitter handle of one of London's largest hospitals!
The Tory scorecard for today (thus far) * While saying that a No Deal Britait would be "exciting", David Davis made reference to the government of Czechoslovakia - a country which hasn't existed since 1993 * Jeremy ...Hunt proved he is so inept as Health Secretary that he can't even remember the Twitter handle for Kings College Hospital * Nadine Dorries retweeted in support of Jacob Rees-Mogg...from a neo-Nazi who posted reams of anti-Islam tweets whose profile literally reads "**** ISLAM"
When someone's Twitter account has the hashtag #IAmBritish, then it's a fair bet that they're not. If that account also pings every single Russian talking point from the last couple of years, then it's even less likely. The alternative is that they're just a complete ****wit, of course. Could be that. His use of TheDonald speech makes it a coin flip.
The BBC has said that it made an error by not challenging climate change loon, Screaming Lord Lawson. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-41744344 He's not a climate change skeptic, he's a science denier for money. Call it what it is. His judgement should never be trusted, purely based upon his decision to call his daughters Nigella, Horatia and Thomasina, FFS.
