If Vince dies, how come he walks out of the diner in the final scene? Wtf is in the briefcase? Why did Marcelus really throw Tony Rockyhorror through a plate glass window? Do Pumpkin and Honey Bunny get away?
I stumbled upon this film years ago. Utterly soul destroying. Not sure I could sit through it again. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interrogation_(1982_film)
Because the diner scene is set before the "Gold Watch" segment. Doesn't the fact that Vincent dies in the Gold watch and is alive in the diner segment, give it away, plus the fact that at the beginning of the Marcellus Wife segment, they are wearing Jimmy's clothes, that they were also wearing in the diner. Its never been said by tarantino, but given its colour and its worth to so many, likely gold Who cares, its completely unimportant to the story Yes, Jules decides to retire and that he doesnt want to kill anymore and lets them leave the restaurant, this actually happens in the movie!
Yeah, I know all that now, I've seen it a dozen times, like I said. Isn't it Marcelkus' soul in the briefcase?
His soul?? The **** film were you watching? How and why would a soul be in a briefcase? And why would everyone be killing each other for a gangster's soul?
Remember the first time you were introduced to Marsellus Wallace. The first shot of him was of the back of his head, complete with band-aid. Then, remember the combination of the lock on the briefcase was 666. Then, remember that whenever anyone opened the briefcase, it glowed, and they were in amazement at how beautiful it was; they were speechless. Now, bring in some Bible knowledge, and remember that when the devil takes your soul, he takes it from the back of your head.
What gave you the impression, whilst watching Pulp Fiction, that there was any supernatural or mythical elements in it?
Did Jules and Vincent experience a miracle when the student guy unloaded a full magazine on them, and they escaped unscathed? Jules certainly believed so.
