Schindler's List is a pretty obvious choice, Requiem for a Dream left me cold for a few days, sort of film they should show teen kids at school even though its an 18.

It took me years to watch Schindler's List and I then watched it a few times in the space of a couple of weeks. I thought it was so powerful and informative that I wanted to learn as much from it as possible.

12 Years A Slave was a hard watch. Great film, not sure I'll revisit.

    Definitely Requiem for a Dream.
Even the sight of Jennifer Connelly and another hot chick arse ****ing each other with a double ended dildo isn't enough to make me watch it again, especially when that same scene is interspersed with scenes of a guy getting his arm cut off, and an old lady having electro shock therapy.
And to make matters worse, the song that plays while all this is happening.....****ING Sky Sports picked it for their Super Sunday music and used it for years!!!! ****s.
For years I couldn't watch a football match without being reminded of that scene!

It's easily the best film about heroin addiction, most of the others always have a feel-good ending when the 'hero' makes it back to the land of the living. From my experience that isn't the way smack-heads go, they may quit, but they rarely stay clean for long, unlike the others the addiction is physical as well as psychological.

It's a good film. Not saying otherwise.
But I most certainly never want to watch it again.

I can rewatch them if the films good I guess, but I get what you are saying, half the excitement is in trying to guess who the killer is, so its never the same.
    **** like Scream and whatnot.

Usual Suspects I can watch over and over again, even knowing who the mastermind is behind it all.

Had to watch Pulp Fiction at least a dozen times to work out wtf actually happened to half the characters. Mind you, I was stoned a lot in those days.

All of Tarantino's are worth watching several times - especially Jackie Brown, which I found very disappointing til I realised it basically a sad love story.

    Pulp Fiction?
But the film shows you what happens to the characters, in the film, there is no mystery whatsoever.
Jules retires from being a gangster, Vincent gets killed by Butch, Butch flees the country with his girlfiend and **** tons of money he ripped off from Marcellus, secure in the knowledge that Marcellus wont be hunting him because Butch saved Marcellus from getting bummed by Zed and Maynard.

    What weed were you smoking?
