Sadly true! Robbed at the end of a penalty... Meanwhile how much will QPR pay? https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.te...d-record-40million-ffp-fine-losing-three/amp/
QPR massive fine, could be trouble also for Bournemouth and Leicester QPR ordered to pay world record £40million FFP fine after losing three-year battle.
Ironic really. The FFP rules were brought in in an effort to stop clubs from going bankrupt - how will fining them in this manner achieve that? Leicester and Bournemouth next up - interesting times ahead.
The six richest clubs - Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have not got the support to hoover up more of the overseas TV money. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/41734454
What? Bournemouth? But I thought it was a fairy-tale and they had got promoted on a shoe-string.... It's a tough one really as they knew the rules and gambled on promotion would stop any troubles!
What they gambled on was QPR not ultimately being found guilty. They have done something very similar and expect to get away with it by way of a successful QPR appeal.
The lad from Liverpool must be feeling well pleased with himself - two hat-tricks for England in the space of four days.
I'm having a hard time deciding what to do tonight - watch the 'big match' on the box (Aberdeen vs Celtic) or head off to the other big match, Lossiemouth vs Deveronvale. The football at the latter may not be as good, but there is a rather tasty brewery in Lossiemouth called Windswept... Decisions decisions.
I would go for the live football and the beer BB. everytime unless it was the Hornets who were playing on TV.
Well the football may not have been of a high standard, but both the result (a 3-1 win for the Vale) and the spectacle were enjoyable - and the beer was delicious. I hear Aberdeen were woeful...
