Looked overweight and dis-interested (or more interested in moaning to the ref) to me. To be fair to him the hoofball we were playing second half doesn't suit him but Bruce HAS to act now. A week and a bit to get a proper striker signed, simple. Dong and Wickham may well come good, but they're not the ready article. As for left back and left wing positions I can't get me head round the reason we're still short in these areas.

Yes it is mate, it's insane. If we finish in the top half again they can beat us 8-0 as SJP.

I'm not much of a fan of Bruce. Don't like him much as a man. Don't rate him massively as a manager. But what you're saying is certifiable.

Gutted my ****ing arse. He wanted a draw and set the team up for it. He doesnt want to beat you but needs to pacify our fans in aderby. He was gutted because 0-0 looked the most likely score and his game plan just got ****ed up.

I dare bet the Bruce households tonight is quietly merry with the sound of laughter and merriment, with fat boy thinking how he can sell this to Quinny and Short? Just another blip lads. How many times can he hide this is Ellis and Niall's decision to make but I want rid of the twat tomorrow.

I really feel for Niall here because he keeps on backing this ****er up and then keeps getting let down by the fat Geordie loving ****.

<laugh> its amazing how ****ing stupid you are!

Bruce is clearly gutted, he keeps referring to us as 'that lot' and clearly doesn't consider himself a Newcastle fan any more.

You've made some cracking signings, we just did our job today and won the game, and took the NE no1 tag with it once again. You'll bounce back, Bruce, as much as I hate to say it, is no mug and he will hurting. Any human being who takes money off people to do a job and ****s them up on purpose is a **** and will go to hell, and he is no Mike Ashley!

Had we not played so badly AGAIN and lost AGAIN I would have questioned it myself but the fact remains he is a Newcastle supporter and we havent even turned up yet against them. Despite all the we created chances but didn't take them horse ****e, the fact remains its Bruce's job to replace Bent; Bruce's job to set the team up and 1 up front at home in our opening fixture is pathetic in itself but then to just sit by until nearly the 70th minute when it was falling apart around us to make changes THEN to take off Larsson and keep the pile of ****e that was Asamoah Gyan today on was embarrassingly obvious. How could any manager who wanted to win a game leave the utterly useless Mohammady on the pitch so long? He simply didn't want us to come back into the game and made damned sure we wouldn't.

He is a mag first and Sunderland manager second and that unacceptable. I said 2 years ago that Bruce's b&w connections would only come into question in the derby games and by Christ, we have been ****e in all 3 so far. Is that just coincidence? I dont accept that at all.

I hate to admit it but I agree. Bruce was desperate to win today and in all the other derbies. I'm still somehow supporting Bruce. He has improved us year on year, getting us to 10th (albeit just...) and I think he has done well building a squad. I'm confident we'll be alright this season. One game doesn't make a season <ok>

I agree Bruce was desperate. ****ing embarrassingly so and I've just had my fill of his lame excuses week after week now.

Do I really think he threw the 3 derbies? Who knows. Do I think it possible. Absolutely and the fact we have been so ****ing **** in all 3 is powerful evidence. We have only scored 2 goals in 3 games to the craas 7. If we had only gone down fighting in only one of them maybe this conspiracy theory would be blown out of the picture but we havent and the way he has set up the team (always defensive) tells me he doesnt want to lose but doesnt want to \win either. He wants a draw which satisfies the Sunderland fans to a degree, the board and the owner but also doesnt upset his black and white roots and Newcastle supporting family and friends.

Either way, I've had it with Bruce and just hope Short has too and sacks the useless ****er as soon as possible.

I know fine well that emotions are raw at this moment in time, but are you really trying to say here that Bruce has infected all of our players performances with his Skunk bias?

Get real man. I know you're angry but you're just really, really embarassing yourself. You do realise that when people say 'Agent Bruce' it's a joke, right?

He's the Sunderland manager and he has been for years. He lives and breathes your club, and even I have no doubt that he would do absolutely anything in his power to get the best results he can for you guys. His job and his entire livelihood depends on it. He probably didn't sleep for days worrying about getting the win, and he won't sleep for days after either.

He would have ****ing loved to beat us, and he's going to try his best when you guys come to SJP. I have no doubt about that.

This is cracking. A Mag talking the Sunderland manager up to a Mackem.

Chappaz... Is it because you know he's secretly throwing the derbys?

The actual notion of Bruce purposely throwing one of the most important games in his entire managerial career because he supported Newcastle as a kid is just SO stupid it actually makes me want to hold my head in my hands.

Would be funny if it turned out Cestria was right though. Imagine if someone took a secret picture of him through a window in his house and he was wearing an NUFC shirt. Hell on.

Half of me is screaming that it's absolutely laughable.

Half of me is now, thanks to Cest, kind of expecting Steve Bruce to do a Lee Clarke now!!!

By half and half I mean 99% and 1%

No thats not what Iam saying but can you explain then why we have been so ****ing poor on 3 oiccassions?

Why did hen wait so long to change the game today and then whne he did, moved the whole team around to accomodate thiose changes? richardson is a shiote left back but could have gone to left wing but instead he moved Colback (who did okay in my eyes) from the position he was doing okay in, to left ****ing back? I mean, left ****ing back. Where in the lads career heas he EVER been a left back? Schooldays?

then he left the absolutely inefective and quite frankly embarassing Mohammady on far too long then tookl Larsson off instead of switching flanks; moved the annonymous Gyan (who didn give a flying **** all game) to right wing and left 2 lads who have never seen a Premiership game let alone a derby game to try and salvage a draw?

If he REALLY wanted to come back, before Bardo was sent off and straight after the goal, he should have took Cattermole (who could have gone at any further tackle anyway) and Muhammady off; Put Ji Dong Won on, with Sess just behind in a central playmaker role, switched Richardson to left wing and Larsson to right; gone 3 at the back and let Gardener play 25 mins or so. Colback could have played the forward sweeper/defensive role to support the back 3. Larsson and Richardson have the ability to play a wingback role so there would have been a better shape and fluidity to the team. At least we would have had a few more attacking options than we ended up with. We had a load of strikers on the pitch and no supply in the end which was a farce. He played for us not to win and thats a fact.

I dont prefess to being a genius but in cintrast to what he did do, this would have been much better and this is the team I said at the time to the lads we should adapt, the second we conceded.

    Mig

    Bardo, Brown, Ferdinand

    Colback

    Larsson, Gardener, Sessegnon, Richardson

    Won, Gyan

I was wondering how you could be so stupid with the accusations you made against Bruce, but it all makes sense now I've seen that line-up. You rip Bruce's decisions but you wanted to go for a 3 man defence and drop Cattermole who was one of your best players by far?

I wish you did go for that line-up after half time. Could have added another few goals to our tally.

I sincerely hope and pray he doesnt get another chance to either enhance my theory or vanquish it. He has ****ed up his last derby in my eyes and I just hope we have the balls to bring a new face to the management table by the time the 2 teams meet again.
Its not simply the hurt of losing a derby game, its the predictable nature of it that has ****ed me off. Bruce has laboured for too long now, lurching from the sublime to the ridiculous and he cant seem to get any consistency to our game. We are predictably good against the better teams and equally predictably ****e against those we should be beating. That Newcastle team today was a shadow of the on that we played last season in terms of quality and experience. Any team with a goal scorer in it will thrash them more often than not and yet we predictably struggled and huffed and puffed for little reward AGAIN. Bruce is a predictably average manager who just hasn't st the world on fire at any time in his 2 and a bit years and we are no further forward today than we were back in May. Yes, the personnel is better but the man in charge is the same predictable boring tactically inept chump he was 5 or 6 months ago.

Got to go. I'm not turning back now.
