And so what do you think actually happens if we refuse to honour our financial commitments and decide to pay nothing and then exit without a deal?

A) Nothing. We are British and we can do what we want and live with no consequences.
B) International courts judge that we must pay our liabilities and fine us on top of the debts owed.
C) As B but no countries trade with us because we are not trusted to honour our agreements.

Is that the kind of society you wish for the UK, because if we stay in the EU that's the kind of society you will be living in in 40-50 years.

 

What are these commitments we are refusing to honour

 

We have liabilities we owe to the EU to cover such things as our contribution to future salaries and pensions for the structures we agreed to be bound by during our intergration into the EU. Those commitments do not get severed in March 2019. Now I know you Brexitears like to pretend these agreements don't exist but they do and although I am no legal expert I believe they are enforceable in law. Time will tell.

North Korea is probably one of the only countries in the world that actually lives by the creed of having taken back control. It's one of the only countries not bound by international treaties, trade regulations and co-operation etc. So rather than been an example of what life is like in the EU it's nearer to the desires of an isolationist wholly independent nation state.
