Perhaps he should just pass sideways to keep the manager happy and play every week

Got to feel for Stephens and Hoedt....they won't get a chance to play until the FA Cup or an injury hits VVD or Maya. Never mind that other spare CB whose name escapes me.

Would be very surprised if Forster doesn't play for 2 reasons: Mauricio has said that McCarthy is our second keeper only recently (unless that's like a vote of confidence) and Forster is our valuable asset who they surely believe will regain form.

Its harsh, but the gaffer needs results, so no time for pity. Play the most effective team every game, no complaints from me.

Tadic will start - Boufal on the bench and will come on with about 20 minutes to go.

Brighton have done very well so far and Will be up for this.

Am expecting a firey encounter, mostly scrappy. Sure we will dominate midfield with the opportunity of quick breaks. Brighton won't be afraid to shoot on sight and we will need Forster to be alert.

Having seen off one Albion this week, I am sure we can see off another.

Stay disciplined, don't give away free kicks near our penalty area and attack with pace. We can do this.

Boufal will be buzzing off his tits after scoring that goal and wanting to impress even more. If MP2 leaves him on the bench ( In my opinion at least) that would be such a poor and disappointing decision. Tadic has hardly set the world on fire this season yet, Redmond has been given a chance already and not taken it , so Boufal has to start for me. Redmond can be just as much an impact sub as Boufal being similar players , but Boufal has just reminded everyone why we paid all that money for him , HE HAS TO START!

As a few other posters have suggested 3-4-3 would work really well with the players we have, however I think Pellegrino will stick with 4-2-3-1.
    I'd like to see:
    -------------------Forster-----------------
    Cedric---Yoshida----VVD---Bertrand
    ---------Romeu---------Lemina--------
    -------------------Boufal------------------
    Long----------Gabbiadini---------Tadic

I can’t believe people are advocating dropping Forster. What has McCarthy done that makes people think he’s better?

Dropping yoshida over vd? Vvd may be the better player but at least yoshida is putting in the effort atm.

Intimidating a penalty taker then saving? Or getting beaten at the near post a-la kelvin?

Mis-timed his kick trying to clear the ball on the edge of his box, attacker stole in and scored.

Having beaten WEST Ham and WEST Brom, can we make Brighton move to the left into WEST Sussex?

Yes because I want to try two centre backs who can dictate play themselves. Yoshi is a bit one dimensional on the ball whilst we have Hoedt who although seemingly out of favour offers us an extra outlet.

If we want to play forward with more urgency it would make sense for the easy swap to give us an extra advantage in that area.
