We went into the game way to complacent, thinking we just had to turn up to win, and then when Lindelof came on he was a joke if I'm honest. I've never seen a 40 million pound centre back as bad as he is. In fact I've never seen as bad a centre back in non league football. Huddersfield are huffing and puffing, but they are still not good enough to stay in the division. Anyways not sure how your in any position to gloat, you lot will be going down with Huddersfield at this rate Not forgetting one of Liverpools resident idiots, assaulting a player whilst holding a toddler. Only in Liverpool
Huddersfield out fought and out played you, they fully deserved their win. They're a decent side and very well drilled. We're struggling because of the managers incompetence and the failure of the club to sign a striker to replace Lukaku's 25 league goals. He'll be sacked before the end of the month......
Disabled Everton fan, 8, told he 'should have drowned at birth' by Man City supporters AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD Everton fan with cerebral palsy was told by Manchester City supporters he “should have been drowned at birth”. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/lat...-fan-drowned-birth-Manchester-City-supporters
well we all knew that this season was going to be difficult following the ridiculous transfer window but am confused how the defence has managed to regress even from last years low. Perhaps Klopp will finally consider some amendments to the system as we will not get anywhere near top 4 leaking goals at this rate. Some defensive training for the whole team needs to be started straight away & if we do it at present get someone else in to run it. As some of us kept saying when Lala was being pelted last season this season shows how vital he to our pressing game as he was the one who seemed to be the one who sensed the possibility of creating a turn over & would close the oppo player down with real pace.
Try reading the various threads of us moaning about how **** we are. That post is just insane, all we do is bang on about it.
There's a few things imo. 1. Lovren has always gambled. Look at the gaol palace scored last year. He just gambled. Yesterday he did the same twice and kane had it freaking easy. So stay goal side would be a decent first step. 2. The midfield. If you look as goals consistently this season you will see vast acres in the midfield zone with 2 or max 3 of our defenders back and tonnes of room to run past us... not one man Jack of them will sit back and hold. Not one. 3. Lallana? Not sure tbh. Wijnaldum isn't that effective. 3. Moreno and rb slot... maybe clyne and Milner sat back more?
Imo we just look badly unbalanced and taking risks to cut stuff out. There not depth to the defence at all. It's all forward and nobody chasing back
He's to busy bragging without watching his team slowly but surely losing pace with the best team in Manchester.
Maybe I'm old fashioned but I thought the manager would discuss it with his coaching staff? Surely discussing it with anyone else who has a zero footballing role at the club suggests to me that people running clubs don't quite get it? Plus how can you be a manager yet not have a natural inclination to make yourself knowledgable with regards to the the talent out there? Manager identifies player with his coaches, Owner gives go ahead financially, DOF has a **** over the paperwork and gets on with it. If you can't trust the manager to identify his targets with his coaches then you do not trust him therefore, why have you got him? How can you trust him with tactics etc etc. The worry for me would be the that I fear Klopp does not even want to identify any defensive targets...Keita was needed this year but you got him for next year....I reckon you could have got him this season with a few more incentives thrown in...the plight was desperate enough and you do have the finances. Plus it's like Klopp got obsessed with VVD because that's who the hype was about in the PL so he thought...right go and get him Mr Owner and DOF...now let me concentrate on the attackers...I got vurk to zu with them
Don't forget... dof should be hiring manager, coaches, reserve coaches, academy coaches, setting out strucutres, hires scouts, provide traning facilities etc etc. You are right all he should be doing is helping sign who the manager wants with the money men
You have to remember our owners still haven't got the hang of how football works, they still apply baseball principles into their running of the club.
Someone will eventually explain there are no pendants for finishing 4th nor a post season play off. It's first or nowhere.
but the thing is the players are presumably playing the way Klopp wants even if they aren't doing it well. We all keep banging on about a holding MF to sit in front of the CB's but evidence suggests that Klopp does not want that or you would constantly hear him screaming as Henderson / Can vacate that area.
At City, who are mostly Mancs.... Whereas at United........like Donkey's head, they're mostly Southern glory hunters
Just wow ... It's quite the reverse actually, I mean, I don't like to say anybody should have been drowned at birth but if we're going to line up candidates we've just found some good ones Lad who cut my hair over the weekend was a city fan and was cool, know a few others who are as well, they still appreciate where their team was for a long time and recent changes hasn't gone to their heads ... that's a different thing though
Yeah, he was generalising about scousers so I responded in kind, there are more good people than bad in both cities but horses head doesn't use logic, he uses his blinkered view and stereotypical ****e as his bible. The same **** refused to accept the findings of the Warrington inquests because they never fitted with his view on what actually happened, he's a loathsome twat.
