Nah, I was p*ssed (in more ways than one) and getting confused. Fair play. We're the worst I've seen since the Roy Hodgson year right now.

This is why they've progressed and we haven't. Last season we beat all the top 6, this season we're being battered by them. It's ok for the excuse mongers to say well no shame in losing to a better team. That's true if it's 1-0 or 2-0, but 5-0 or 4-1, no sorry, that's murder. And if you throw in the fact we're still struggling against the teams below us it's now a recipe for disaster.

Even if there are plans for January that's weeks away. There's more of this **** to come.

That's what happens when you strengthen in areas that you don't need and ignore those areas that you absolutely do need.

Show me a fan that didn't think that we needed to strengthen our defence and defence minded midfield and even goalkeeping positions. Instead we bought 3 attacking players and a left back that we have barely used. That's gross mismanagement right there.

You won't find a single one.

Ox stands out as a baffling addition. Salah was needed period. Solanke was a kid shuffled up.

Only ox as a late and expensive addition stands out as a poor buy.

The back line and midfield needed addressing badly and wasn't.

The Robertson thing? What's going on there? If I had to guess I'd say Klopp is playing the game of if you force players on me I wont play them.

Maybe.... He did ok the one start he got. Moreno has done "ok" as well though. It's not like he has been awful.

The issue for me is a German doesn't talk to a Croat who doesn't talk to say Spain are who after 3 years still can't speak any English.

Add in a school boy no 6 who chases the ball up the field and it's chaos.

No one can deny that the recruitment over the windows had been poor. Whether he had his hands tied with the owners pulling the strings I am not sure. But It is unlikely that FSG had gone into such micromanagement. So he has to bear responsibility at least in part.

I have never been convinced of the need for a director of football but in our situation I can see how this could help. Klopp needs someone to oversee these activities as his strengths seem to be in coaching and tactics rather than recruiting.

4 transfer windows without addressing your defence. Klopp has no one but himself to blame. He was getting backed to buy VVD....that didn't go well and he showed zero interest in any other defender. Strange thinking.

Purchased Keita for next season when you needed a DM for this one. Klopp might be out of the door before Keita comes.

Klopp has got a lot to answer for...if you had a lesser name as manager...he would already be gone...which suggests that sentiment is getting in the way of things when it comes to an honest appraisal of the gaffer.

The DOF is a laughable job and given far too much importance...a DOF should go and get who the manager wants...beyond that and I don't see his use. It's quite embarrassing to think Klopp could not see beyond the obvious VVD...or maybe he thinks his Gung Ho style will always work. Either way if I was a Pool fan....my finger would be pointing at Klopp and his pig headed attitude.

Another thing ive noticed recently is that we have lost our pressing game. We miss Lallana a lot in that regard, but we don't seem to chase down and harass the opposition nearly as much as we used to. We just look so soft and easy to break through.

We also have the highest conversion rate against us for shots on target. Yesterday showed this again. Basically have a shot against us and its a good chance it will go in.

FSG are a data centric organisation. It ain't gunna change. Question is, what does Klopp think of this? If he's compliant, he's part of the problem I'm afraid.

can't disagree. He is the big name. The team is off and i am not sure he can pull it back. Firs toff he simply doesn't have the cbs to pull it back

I agree on technical director also. Its not "your club" the job is about building structures not an ego trip. Technical director is about building the club long term into a world class structure irrespective of what club it is.

That covers all aspects of the facilities and organisational structure including people at all levels of the football side of the business.

Its not about picking players and handing them to a coach to pick the team on a weekend.

So there are 333,333 miles per point. Or 536,448 km/point. Or 1.79 light-seconds/point.

    So:

    LFC formations.

Here is what I would do next.

    Mingolet (karius is utter ****e)
Gomez Matip Klavan (3 at back and stay back)
TAA Henderson Can Moreno (midfield duo not good)
Salah Mane coutinho (yes drop fimino)
    The issue here is stark.

first the cbs to come in are dire. Klavan is ****e but lovern is clealr not right and needs to come out until he is a t least fit.

Second the midfield is a joke.

third i really don't think firmino is working this season. If/when mane is fit i would go fale 9 up top and put the 3 lads forward.

343 and gamble theres enough bodies in the 5 to keep out a few goals.
