Match Day Thread General matchday thread.

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by Libby, Aug 4, 2017.

  1. I've just popped over to the Gooner board, and it's a grim place these days!

On their match-day thread, there are 6 posters, and one of those is RCL, who is a Spurs fan!

Pixie - their mod - isn't anywhere to be seen. I reckon he's hiding in the cupboard under his mum's stairs.

    ****ing tragic!

RCL is doing a superb job at not ripping the piss! I'd have been letting loose with both ****ing barrels, by now!

Not saying that this is going to end in anything other than a victory for the Gunners, but can someone please put the Samaritans on red alert just in case, please?

  2. Yes, as I predicted, Arsenal get the equaliser.

They will go on to romp this.

Koeman will get the sack, and Wenger will linger on.

I'm not sure which of the two clubs will, in the long run, be worse off?

  5. That second goal was always going to come. I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal grab a third.

Everton look like a team begging to be relegated.

Gueye has been sent off. Everton down to 10 now. Will be surprised if Arsenal don’t go on to score 1 or 2 more now

  8. ...and that twat Gueye goes and ensures that Koeman is, indeed, sacked!
    <doh>

The only solace I can take in this result is that it will wind Tobias up like ****.

Doesn't seem to be getting much press anywhere really considering just how good it was. If that was a United/City player...

We don’t have a great record against them recently. I’d actually feel more confident if it was at Anfield too!..

@Tobes few weeks ago stood up for Koeman when I gave an early shout out. You said you have played only PL royalties & very difficult fixtures.
All you Experts were clapping him for his response.
    What now?

    not just your home Wumbley.
But Pool are just better and they can take you apart. Aurier could be rash against Mo if flanks swapped.

I’ve been lounging around the pool drinking beer all day. Just seen the result.
