PNP has plenty of likes of his own though. I think of giving a like to Spurf as an act of charity.

    Thank you CK :emoticon-0173-middl

That's a bit like Mourinho's praise of Huddersfield.

Just off to the game. I'm expecting Dele Alli to give them hell today. He should be fired up having missed Tuesday. Ben Davies needs a big one too, given that the DoF has found a sports bra and the desire to play at the WC. I'd probably go for Aurier, just, as one thing that Liverpool have is pace in Salah and having Sanchez and Aurier means we are able to deal with that better.

Can we leave Sissoko out or is it Winksy, in order to accommodate Dier back into the centre of midfield? A nice problem to have.

    Later, Gentlemen.

I am guessing that I am in in a minority of...well...one tbh, but I do not think that Dele deserves to be in the team. He has been really poor and a bit show ponyish imho

I think in his last match Dele's positional play was much improved. Now it's just a matter of confidence. Leaving him on the bench won't help his confidence.

    Not at all.

The CL games against Dortmund and Madrid should
set the alarm bells ringing for any absent Spurs player
who may not be focused on the grand plan (you are
    NOT indispensable) .

Bang on, although we need to add Peter 'the Great' Mc William to that list.

Think in form players should keep their place...would be harsh on winks or Sissoko if they were dropped imho

I agree it would be harsh, however, we all know what Dele can do and all want him to go back doing it. I think he is almost there. It obviously depends if you are looking at a one-off match or the bigger picture.

Mentioning all these names, and we haven't even considered Lamella, I really don't see where Barkley is supposed to fit in. I don't see how he would make us stronger. There comes a point where you can't keep all these players happy when they are not going to play regularly (unless you've got Citeh's dodgy finances anyway).

I wouldn't sign Barkley, I'd go straight for Ducoure (Spelling?) at Watford. Probably get him £30 or £40 M.

A bench-warmer at a top-end club is going to have
to get one of the following to vaguely be happy :

    1. big wages

    2. silverware by proxy (play minimum number of
games to qualify for a PL champions medal etc)

Looks like Aurier might be playing on the left to deal with Salah's pace

Not so sure about the pivot, though.

Blimey thats a strange line up selected by Poch today. Mind you we all thought that on Tuesday night and that ended very well.

Looks like 5-3-2 again with Trippier LWB??!! Winks Dele and Eriksen in a midfield 3 and Son supporting Kane up top.

Dont know why Davies isnt starting at LWB maybe not quite ready after illness. No Dier at DM so it looks like Winks will be asked to play the defensive role in a very attack minded midfield.
