***BREAKING NEWS*** The BBC wishes to apologise to Spud fans who thought one of their players had been nominated for a Balon D’or. A spokesperson said it was a Balloon Dur and not the above.
TBF Kane did well to be nominated. Kane knows that he was never going to win it, a feeling he is used to.
In all seriousness, G4E, do you think that Kane has a chance of beating Ronaldo? I don't, personally. I think the voting is rigged against English players winning it. I suppose a better question would be, do you think that the Hurra has a chance of getting down to the last three nominations?
It will be Messi or Ronaldo, as it too early for Neymar to win it. They will be top 3. Kane imo is not at that level, but is in the level below, which shouldn't be sniffed at. I like Kane as a player and I hope he keeps injury free for the WC next year and leads England to the quarterfinals.
Real Madrid are convinced they will land 24-year-old Tottenham striker Harry Kane next summer. (Sun) Lifted from BBC Gossip just now
See what you did there mate? You quoted from ****s bible but he doesn’t like it when it contradicts his misplaced quotes.
Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, then plenty of other proven and successful top players and the Hurricane 'Arry.
He might just make the limo driver category, the lad deserves credit for his nomination, but the winner is always a player that's won silverware.
Hiag has utter faith in the BBC Gossip webpage and everything posted on it is true according to him, unless it's a post about Spurs then he believes it's false. standard Hiag double standards
Actually it's Spurs fans that are the needy ones, who desperately believe that Kane will stay at Spurs despite the fact that he could earn more and win trophies elsewhere. i get your desperation mate, I really do. #thetruthhurts
No, we don't have to believe it, G4E. Kane has said that's what he intends to do, mate. I know this hurts you, probably because it is in stark contrast to back-stabbing mercenaries you have at your club, all desperate to high-tail it out of there to play for anyone with a bigger cheque-book. I know that hurts you, but try not to take it out on us. We're just fans, G4E. Like you.
We have a bet riding on the outcome of the situation, so we both will have a diverse opinion of the likely outcome. The days of "one club" players has long gone and they are all mercenaries as such, players move for more money and to win trophies - remember Sol coming to us, RVP to United. Both men were adored by their fans yet did what they had to do. Still makes them ****s
We do, indeed, G4E. I don't want you bottling that bet, mate. Yes, it does, G4E. However, you are missing a key factor, here. None of those players whom you mentioned ever told the press that they intended to spend their careers at Arsenal. Kane has done just that. Several times, in fact.
