Not much in it - we haven’t been anywhere near our best going forwards. Amos has made one good save. Fosu and Holmes very quiet. First goal wins it.
Surely our best win of the season so far! I'm starting to believe that maybe we are for real. 4 points from these two tough away matches, that is exactly what we need to see. Well done KR and the team today. Now let's have that take-over, and we can throw everything we have behind this season's promotion campaign...
Terrific win in atrocious weather conditions. We were nowhere near our best, but dug in and ground out 3 points after Forster-Caskey scored from close range in front of our fans. Special plaudits today to 2 players - Naby Sarr- not a natural left back by any means, but looking more like a decent player every week. And Ben Amos, for pulling off a Gordon Banks -like save at the end which saw him mobbed by the whole side. Cracking atmosphere in the away end - see @HenryIrving10 for the evidence !
Well done Charlton and Gobby, Gobshite, and all the other names he has been called. Good result at a difficult place. I thought Karl Robinson got his team selection right by adding more height with Naby Sarr. Have heard that the Takeover is not a given and there is a real possibility that it won't go through.
No take-over, no cause for celebration. Even if Charlton win promotion this season, for me that statement holds true. There is no point us being in the Championship under this owner and this regime. The 2015-16 season is proof of that. Either Duchatelet sells, or we crash and burn again. But that's for the future. For today the team and our manager passed a really tough test. They now have me just beginning to believe we can win promotion this season...
It was too wet and windy for a good game of football. That said, we worked hard defensively and Amos pulled off two wondersaves. Sarr looks like he could be useful, he made two great slide tackles
Fantastic result against a team I think we'd all expect to be up there at the end of the season. Naby Sarr continues to confound the critics and I'll have to confess Amos has made my criticism of his signing look daft- I hope we can keep him now
Amos had a great game today in difficult conditions. Magennis wasn’t at his best & we surely need 1/2 new strikers to push on. Robinson clearly doesn’t rate either KAG or Dodoo.
Another dreadful away turnout. It seems the apathy has now extended to the fans attending away games, a paltry 624 went yesterday.
Bradford is like a lot of places on your travels, you may not want to live there but is a good day out.
