No match is easy in this league, but i’m hoping we catch Leicester on a bad day. Regarding Fer he’s better as an impact player. He runs out of steam doing the full 90 mins, don’t rely on him to do much defending, so better in an advanced position as he does have goals in him. He’ll be back for Tue I expect.. Mesa may get a seat on the bench tomorrow with Fer on a one match ban for 5 bookings. Anyway, it will be interesting who’s picked as I’m sure Clement will want to put out a strong team in the cup a few days later.
Fab Rangel , Fernandez , VDH , Naughton Ki , Britton , Carroll Ayew , Abraham , Narshingh . When Bony is healthy , I think we should play Bony and Abraham up front and build a support group behind them . If we ever wanted to seriously try a 4 - 4 - 2 , we have the pair of strikers to try it IMO . Going 3 - 1 Swans
With the weather, this could be a Comedy of Errors ...... if only Shakespeare was still in charge....
The weather will hurt Leicester more than us today as all they have in their locker is a long ball to Vardy and little else. They are still a better team than their position suggests though but its going to be a scrappy game which will suite us as we are more used to playing scrappy football than they are. I see Swans winning 1-0 with our goal coming from another defensive blunder. I've said it before, the only way we are going to score goals will be from opposition mistakes because we are incapable of creating our own clear cut chances, so we have to rely on scraps from the opposition. Then Tammy can score into an empty net or from six inches out, he isn't going to score any other way imo, he's a sniffer of goals not a creator. If Sanchez starts ahead of Ki and or Clucas then Clement can **** off right now because if he does select Sanchez to start then its obvious that he is looking to boost his CV, not do right for the team.
It's strange about Sanches because the top 20 under 23 players in the world were shown on one of the Dailys this week and Sanches was ranked at no 3 and if I remember rightly Tammy wasn't in the top 20.
Just goes to show you cant believe anything written in the dailys' Nos. All I've seen of him is him struggling to be average and I doubt anyone has seen anything else. Last year he couldn't break into Bayerns youth team hence him being sent to finishing School here in sunny Swansea. He's here to learn how to play the game of football and that doesn't sound like any top 3 U23's player in the world to me, in reality he's not in the top 100.
