    After my earlier effort of coming up with a chant for our new striker:

    HE PLAYS ON THE LEFT,
    HE PLAYS ON THE RIGHT,
    ERIK HUSEKLEPP MAKES LALLANA LOOK ****E!

    I have now come up with another. The only thing is I don't know how Kanu would react to a younger guy coming in and taking his title ;)

    KING ERIK, ERIK,
    WHEN HE PLAYS HE TAKES THE MICK,
    HE'S GUNNA SCORE A HATRICK,
    KING ERIK, ERIK!

    Should be interesting against Cardiff, IF Erik replaces Liam Lawrence on the right wing, from the start. What pace the lad has got !
    Also, Ward to replace Mokkers at right back

    Agreed WD - although he's put in a COUPLE of good performances - he's only ever a bootlace away from some sort of soccer catastrophe.......






    ...this 'somewhere south of Pompey' wouldn't be near my local would it ???

    I'm hoping we sign a left midfielder by next weekend, so we can play 4-4-2 properly with Erik up top. If not, we've got to go back to 4-3-3 and stick Erik on the right.

    Ward definitely got to be RB, got no idea what Cotts is thinking by playing Moko there?!

    Good to hear that Huseklepp made an impression, if only for 5 mins.

    Word of caution though, he is definately better up front or in a free role just behind the striker then on the wing.

    If you play a whole game with 4-4-2 and Erik on the wing he will disappear from time to time. You want him on the ball as much as possible!

    The only time you want him on the wing, is if your playing 4-5-1.

    Thanks for the info botch <ok> It would appear that Erik did more in the last six minutes, than some players have done for us in the past for the entire 90 minutes...

    Cotts is already on the PFC website saying he's excited by Erik - I reckon he'll be starting on Saturday against Cardiff (is there a game before?). I'll be at that one so will let you know botch just how he gets on.

    Have any of you seen the snooze site? All the Portsmouth grumpy old men are calling for SCs head because he didn't start him - god help the team if any of them became managers <laugh>

    Thanks, that would be nice. Gotta keep an eye on "our local magician" you know :)

    Ill prob look for a stream, but couldnt find one tonight so keep the reports coming!
