No one can argue with that. We were absolutely robbed today and deserved the 3 points. I tell you what though, for a group of fans who make out it was OUR cup final, they seemed pretty ****ing delighted that they managed to scrape a point against a team very out of form, having been outplayed for 70-75 minutes. Add to this that their 'singing section' was a small group of about 100 in the corner, and not even a soul in their 'World famous' Trent End left their seat once between goals - it equals the most tinpot and overrated football club I have come across. As we left the ground we were confronted by delirious Forest fans, women as ugly as sin, skinny runts as high as a kite, you know the type, some bumping into Leicester fans on purpose in an attempt to look hard. So mouthy on the forums, so mouthy round the town - well boys and girls, you left it outside the ground I'm afraid. It does quite annoy me when people bang on about how their club has a great old ground and it has an amazing atmosphere. You can't just turn up and expect their to be an atmosphere. You have to SING. Forest's home support makes Coventry's look good. I mean in fairness to the Chavs, there aint many of them, but when we turn up at least, the very few of them attempt to make a good atmosphere. I mean really, having been to the City Ground twice now and expecting a passionate, if arrogant home support, they were a massive failure. Give me our fans at our 'soulless' ground any day of the week. Oh and another bit of advice Forest - if you're going to list all those trophies you've done don't put your division 2 titles on there as well. I can tell you we've won the 2nd Tier more times than you but our mentality isn't small-time enough that we plaster it all over the stadium. I get you've won a few trophies, but don't try and immitate Arsenal. Anyway, aside from those ****wits, there's not much else to be said about the game that hasn't already been said. We completely dominated for 70 minutes, Fernandes had a hand in both goals and was one of the MOTM, along with Danns and Nugent. Bringing Gallagher on was a mistake, he did nothing with the ball when it came up to him, where previously Danns and Nugent had caused them all sorts of problems. I want to know why Howard wasn't on the bench? Surely he's the kind of man to bring on in that situation? Or Waggy or Dyer? A player with pace or a player with strength who can win headers. Gally has neither of those attributes. But I don't want to give Sven too much stick, that was his only mistake, otherwise he was spot on, we were just very unlucky. I didn't have a great view of the penalty but most think it was harsh. The sending off was disgrace though. Firstly Kasper is booked without his knoweldge, horrific error number one from the ref. Secondly, he's booked for the second time for throwing it towards the halfway line. **** up number 2. Maybe it's a lesson to Kasper, don't lose your temper. However, a sending off it was not. The referee was just desperate to get the home fans off his back. Finally, Weale, once again he costs us points against local rivals. His feet were glued to the floor, I have no doubt Schmeichel would have claimed that. Pathetic flapping. If you're reading this Chris, you seem a nice guy, but you need to **** off. I'm sure I'll get commets of bitter this, bitter that. Yeh I am bitter, I'm bitter this tinpot club with tinpot fans has unjustly claimed a point today against Leicester.
Carlsberg don't do football posts............................................ Agree with most of that - I'd rather have seen Howard on than Gally, Howard can hold the ball up and take pressure off the defence, that crappy 5 sub rule.
I think it was either Sven or Gus Poyet who was interviewed when they announced this 5 man sub rule. He said he may not put a goalkeeper on the bench! Imagine if he hadn't today! **** would have gone down.
Emilio - everything in there not much to add, but there were a few singing in the corner above us also! Also thanks to the fat b*stard in the main shed for entertainment during the match, and providing some material for our songs! Cannot wait for the next match
He probably wouldn't have played anyway. Pleased with the performance today - seems like we finally 'clicked' at times
Were there, ok fair enough. I still thought they were atrocious though - team and fans. Some people give our home atmosphere stick but we have far more singers. I mean our Kop gets a load of stick but even on a bad day the top 3rd stands and sings.
I remember when we scraped a win at Sheff Utd last season, we played so badly I felt less confident about getting in the play-offs than before the match. Forest fans should feel similar tonight, they are going nowhere
