Swansea City v Leicester City Barclays Premier League Date - Saturday, 21 October 2017 Kick off - 15:00 Venue - Liberty Stadium Following the much needed victory over promoted Huddersfield, Swansea have a second consecutive home PL fixture, this time against recent Champions Leicester City - a team that, as I type, currently fills one of the relegation places. The victory over Huddersfield corresponded with a change of tactics by Paul Clement - the inclusion of Luciano Narsingh helped give the team more width & pace, and as a consequence the team had a cutting edge, and looked far more threatening in front of goal. Perhaps the injuries to Sanches and Bony were a blessing in disguise....... Swansea and Leicester have played each other on 37 occasions, with the Swans winning 11, Leicester winning 18 and 8 draws. In the corresponding fixture last season, the Swans ran out 2-0 winners, thanks to First-Half goals from Mawson & Olsson. Looking ahead to next Saturday, the Swans will be looking to secure back-to-back successive home victories and move into the top half of the table before a challenging away trip to Arsenal the following week. My heart says 2-1 to the Swans, but my head says 1-1. Let's hope my heart wins - as it did against Huddersfield !
It will be interesting to see how Leicester get on against WBA tomorrow night. I have a feeling this will be a big step up from the Huddersfield game, so I'm going for a score draw. 1-1
Probably one of the most important games of the season , a real Fork in the Roader . Grab 3 points , the pressure will subside and the team can work more on fine tuning without a cloud over them . Pros to this point , Fernandez is upped his level by two ( hope a contract extension is in the works ). 50 million ponds of transfers only played 14 minutes last win . Whether they are good signings or not is anyone's opinion but these guys will start coming on line soon , one at a time if their worth it . Fab is playing great , should be in the running for best Swansea keeper ever IMO . Excited having Bony and Abraham to choose from , regardless of who plays . It's a comfort for me to have Bony for next season when Abraham leaves . I think Ki will also come good this season . Glass 3 quarters full for this game and the season . WORRIES ... We haven't taken a point when the opposition scores a goal , all our points are from clean sheets . 4 clean sheets should give us at least 10 points but 8 will have to do . Thank god Clement got an 8th game , unlike some .
Leicester are no great shakes at the minute, so I'm going for a home win 2-1 or 1-0, as long as Clementine plays with Wingers.............

We should be beating teams at the bottom when we are at home.....There was a time when the big teams feared coming to the liberty as they knew that they would have to play there best team to have any chance of beating us.....Today Leicester are saying we are a game where we can get 3 points and have no fear......How the mighty have fallen and it's all self inflicted as we all know....
