So proud of being a Spur tonight.
I am expecting to wake up and it be the night after 10 man Man City came back from 3 down....
Since Martin Jol we have gone upwards.
To go to Madrid without Dembele, without Wanyama, without Dele and AT LEAST DESERVE a draw says we are continuing the upwards journey.
Will enjoy the pundits selling the squad and demanding Pochettino join god knows who...this result will slay them <laugh>

If it's going to continue being identical results(in our pairs) then bet the house on 1-1s again. After that it's tricky, might be that Dortmund win their games 3-1 and APOEL 3-0 leading to a 4-way tie :D

You forgot to mention that we didn't have an actual left-back available to start, either.

    Very proud tonight, very proud.

How far we have come. From a club that used to fight for a Europa place to a club that feels its a job well done getting a fantastic draw at the Bernabau. Were not soft Spurs anymore, no more sugar and spice and all things nice of olden days, this is a powerful, relentless side that is finally maturing. This is a Spurs side that can defend and that dosent capitulate if we lose a goal.

Our so called super duper manager knows how to set up a side that is organised, efficient and super fit.To think we were missing Wanyama, Dembele, Davies and Dele tonight. Tactically we were superb. Please never leave Mauricio.

Hugo, take a bow son. What a save. Alderweireld was coolness personified again, hardly broke sweat. Sanchez was a collossus especially second half, what a player we have here.

Dier was excellent too, Aurier brilliant one minute, awful next, if only his brain worked as fast as his legs he would be truly outstanding. Llorente with some lovely hold up play, Sissoko with another good display, he can actually play when he puts his mind to it.

Finally a big mention to young Harry Winks, what maturity he showed tonight, keep on watching Luka Modric now theres a player to aspire to.Love seeing this boy develop.

No one gave us a chance to get out of this group, we might even win the group.

Aurier seems like the perfect Poch project...he's got the raw talent...he needs refining...his thinking needs tapping into.

Not being nasty lads but this gives you an indication of Madrid's home form this season

    Played 4

    Drawn 2 (Valencia and Levante)
    Lost 1 (Real Betis)
    Won 1 (Espanyol)

    Not great at the moment.

Yep, not saying they are not the team to beat, just that they are struggling to score at home at the moment.

No. We weren't playing them at their home in the league though, were we?
