So lets call for his head and while we are at it, lets call for that ****ing twat Cleggs haed!! PAUL JEWELL OUT!!! SIMON CLEGG OUT!!!
tell ya lads, def the entertainers! this is gonna be the 2nd time i enjoy watching the football league show! its goals, goals, goals and more goals!!
Unfortunately for you though there will be no violence, which to be fair is the norm for you Leeds Scum!!
league one could be good for you, it was for us...sit back, let jewell take you to the brink of relegation, then sack him and get a former hero ex player with no experience in anything other than opening a decent asda, and allow him to finish the job...actually feel for you and would love it if you made the prem - just for the banter and derby matches... think you better with jewel than without...
I did feel sorry for the Ipswich fans when Posh scored the 7th goal - it meant you had to use both hands
Bit surprised at all these comments (I thought Spanish liked Jewell, but obviously I got the wrong impression!). I'm not denying that this was a truly awful result, as was the loss to Southampton on Tuesday, but those calling for Jewell's head need to realise that doing so hardly ever gets results! The Budgies are obviously an exception, but surely over the last 4 years we have mocked so many other clubs for the 'idiocy' of changing managers so quick. I would be very very annoyed if we lost Jewell. The last two results were unacceptable, and our general play was pathetic. But for goodness sake, I actually look forward to Saturdays now as opposed to dread them during Roy Keane's era! Jewell is making good signings, (Chopra, Cresswell and Bowyer are all fantastic signings for this level) and the others he has been chasing give a real sense of ambition. I refuse to believe it is Jewell's fault that we haven't brought in another CB yet, have you guys seen the amount of players we have been bidding for in that department? Have you ever thought that actually signing players is a hell of a lot harder than picking up the phone and asking 'Hey! Messi! I'll offer you a packet of Nobby's Peanuts if you pop down to play here every week?!' Unbelievably naive of a lot of you! In my eyes it all stems back to the CB partnership. Lancs, you said that Terry and Vidic wouldn't have stopped the goals tonight, but it is not just about technical skill! The confidence that having a good partnership there echoes throughout the team! Ever heard the saying 'build from the back?'! There is a reason for it! And I do not see this as Jewell's lack of ability in the transfer market! So there you go Spanish, you've found a Jewell supporter. Happy? Tonight was disgraceful. But you name me one good manager that would be better than Jewell (to the tune of the over a million payoff we would have to give him, and a probable higher wage of the new manager). There isn't one. Now calm down, have a tequila in your lovely hot Spanish weather, and perhaps it's better to sleep on it when you have a thought in the future and not come on here all guns blazing immediately? Rant over.
At last someone talking sense. Jewell is not a miracle worker yes he should be putting out a team who are able to get a better result than the past 2 but he's not a miracle worker. These results have been along time coming, I think its almost an injustice that these did not occur under Keane's era. I can't believe how many people stuck up for Keane for soo long and now they are so quick to want Jewell out, I just don't understand it. I believe despite the past 2 results unless it snowballs that we have the right man in charge of our club finally.
Well said cinnamon and itfcptc. Spanish, drunk or not you sound like a teenage girl, calm down and try and see the bigger picture
Oh come on you’ve been a laughing stock for some time, not just yesterday. If you will permit me, a brief synopsis: Man Utd 9 (nine) – Binners 0 – 4th March 1995 (still a premiership record) Chelsea 7 – Binners 0 – 10th Jan 2011 Binners 1 – Norwich City 5 – 21st April 2011 Binners 2 – Southampton 5 – 17th August 2011 Peterborough 7 – Binners 1 – 21st August 2011 Although, one accolade that was bestowed upon 1p5wich Town and widely recognised by their fellow peers, was that they were undoubtedly Britain’s ugliest team from 1978 to 1986, when they were deservedly relegated not before time I might add. Who can forget beefcake Beattie (hic), male model Mills and cat-walk Wark, with his cheeky tash. Eric Bristow commented when presenting Paul Mariner with the prestigious nose of Britain (nob award) “I could ski down that fu**er”. Peter Beardsley also had some kind words when presenting Britain’s ugliest man. He simply said “thank god for Eric Gates”. On the illustrious past thing, S E Hinton wrote a book and there is a famous line from a John Steinbeck novel which goes “that was then, this is now” could they have both been talking about 1p5wich Town? I’ll let you decide. NMTD
SW19 it's another example of how important to you gents we are that you intimately know all those details. I have not a clue of the date but you are forgetting that you got beat 7-1 by Colchester and if I could be bothered to wade through history I'm sure I could find plenty of examples of Norwich spankings, not least our own five goal demolition of you. Of course since you don't have any history it will always suit you to dismiss it as irrelevant, which of course it's not
"Its about time you idyats listened to those who know!!" so you know do you, give me a break! yeah alright the last two results have been woeful but at the end of the day we are only 4 games in and yes i do actually have full support for Paul Jewell. What are you suggesting, sack Jewell and start all over again? i guess you probably would considering you know it all! you might be right in that Paul Jewell backers look a bit stupid now but give it until the summer Spanish and i have a feeling I will be saying the exact same thing to you!
