I don't think the owners will have that view. We are back in the situation where the manager doesn't know his strongest side or best combinations. Someone will have to react soon - the players, the manager or the owners.
...bit harsh on Mahrez ... Vardy has missed just as easy chances this season ... Mahrez was pretty good yesterday ... lots of invention and a cracking finish ... We have to stop giving silly free licks away aeound 20 / 25 yards out because Kasper gets beaten too often from there ... That was just about West Broms only effort on target so we have only ourselves to blame for missing out on the 3 points ... Finally ... performances under Pearson weren't always there ... we went on a long run without a win and performances away to Swansea ans Southampton to name two were abysmal ....... Midfield last nivht showed distinct signs of improvement for me ...
I agree with that and wouldn't have a go at Mahrez over the miss as it happens to the best. Probably snatched at it due to lack of confidence. He was shocking first half with aimless passes that put the defence in trouble but was a load better in the second half and good feet for the goal. Still think you're a bit harsh on Pearson. Given the resources he has compared to Ranieri last season and especially Shakey now, it was much better. The football back in Jan/Feb and now is so much worse imo than under Pearson. You've named the two worst games there but other than that we were in games
...don't misunderstand ... this squad is way superior to what we had under NP and therefore the under performing is way more frustrating... but lets not wear rose tinted specs ... we were bloody awful at times prior to the great escape...not just a bit unlucky...
Obviously the title season has drastically increased expectations as well meaning things seem worse. I do agree that it wasn't just unlucky but I still don't think we ever amounted to levels of **** that we reach at the start of this year. In fact interestingly it's the same fixtures as you highlighted from the first season under Pearson but the 3-0 defeat to Southampton and 2-0 to Swansea this year were as bad as I think I've ever seen. You just knew that when we went a goal down it'd be 2 or 3 minimum
Must have missed that - who had their tongue down an Albion ear - almost beats Birch kissing Tony Currie
