Jose has always parked the bus away from home against the big sides, and he wins a lot of titles.
City have beaten a couple of teams by 6 goals....big whoop.
They will still fail in the bigger games away from home, precisely because they will play too gung ho.
You dont get extra points for a bigger win margin.

I agree that Man U's style probably wins out over 38 games. However I think for Man City, a bigger statement of intent that a 7-2 win over Stoke or 5-0 over Palace was the 1-0 win away at your lot. Tough place to go and traditionally as you say the sort of game they fall down on so that was a big one

    I will give you that.
Those are the sort of games City need to win to take home the title, and they passed that test.
Remains to be seen for the rest of the season though.

    We all know that, Bodi.

    Time will tell.

To me, City look to have the more balanced squad, and the greater number of match-winners.

I think United will struggle to finish 2nd, let alone top.

Then why do people keep citing City being "rampant" as an indicator of anything?

    #11005
  6. Because they are taking apart, with consummate ease, teams that most of us struggle against.

Yes, Stoke could have had an "off" day, but it could also be down to the fact that the Stoke players simply gave up because City were really that good on the day.

Will they win by that margin every match? Of course they won't!

Are people really going overboard on how good City look, at the moment? No, I don't think so.

They still won the ****ing league though didn't they?

I wonder how that feels? It's more than probable neither you nor I will ever know the answer to that question.

  12. We all know that, Archie.

Despite the fact that it has become fashionable to slate me for not giving Leicester credit, it is a fact that I did give them due credit, at the time.

With respect, however, you completely miss the point of this thread.

They fluked (or, if you like, "won") the title at great cost to their club.

I predicted it, and it has come to pass.

Please, Archie, do not fall into the same trap as the half-wits, by shooting the messenger.

Let's get back to some hard facts...

Since August Leicester city have earned the least amount of points in the PL.

That is quite damning for a team of champions. Almost embarrassing.

Should Shakey the amateur be binned off before it gets worse?

    Exactly, Sky!

Imagine if Ranieri had been as ****e as Shakey?

Honestly, I don't really know much about this Shakey bloke, but he clearly is something of a clown.

If I were Mr Shawaddywaddy (or whatever the owner's name is), I would sack Shakey now and get Big Sam in. Start the relegation fight early, just to be on the safe side.

You watch, mate... I bet I get a load of abuse from our resident rabid Foxes!

Some people just will not listen.

No, apparently not, seeing as they are still licking their wounds 2 seasons later.
