The Leicester City "spiral" watch!

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by Hoddle is a god, Jan 17, 2016.

  1. I predicted that LCFC fluking the title would come at a great cost to them. I was proven correct in the very next season. I am being proven even more correct this season.

You struggled to a 1-1 draw, tonight, against Brom, and you are currently languishing in the relegation zone.

    These are facts.

I am sorry that you cannot cope with that. I do not personalise this with you, but you and your fellows do personalise it with me, which demonstrates an incredible immaturity on your part. I suspect that you are either very young or a slightly mentally and emotionally ******ed adult. Either way, I would ask you - please - DO NOT SHOOT THE MESSENGER!!

I do not know how many times I have implored you mangy Foxes not to do that.

I get it. You're hurting, and you are kicking out in all directions, and especially in mine, as you seem to associate my message (which has been proven to be correct) with you decline.

  2. "...in the relegation zone and without a win in six Premier League games..."

I rest my case (for now).

... rest it on the EPL records book, Quentin. In it you will find that Leicester City have won the title and that a current Leicester City player, Jamie Vardy, holds the all time EPL record for scoring in consecutive games. Then whisper to yourself "I must try not to be so bitter" and keep on repeating until the hurt eases a bit ...<laugh>

Have a good day, Quentin <cheers>

Cannot believe that you are still so bitter about Leicester winning the league. I know Harry Kane made a complete **** of himself over that 'Coming to get you' jibe, but you have even outdone him with this thread that still has you blubbing about Leicester's title <laugh>

What's amusing is that apparently being held 1-1 at home to West Brom is bad. I seem to remember West Brom drew 1-1 away to another side during the 2016 run in <whistle>

    Of course not.
Anyway WBA are a horrible team to play. Their keeper was timewaating 5 mins into the game ffs. As a stand alone result it's one of them that you are disappointed with but appreciate it could be worse. Given the run of form we should have got more and deserved to

You had a few chances to score again, the one the Mahrez blasted over the bar (before the equaliser) was the best chance, should have been 2-1 really.

Yes that was the best one, I had 2-1 as a prediction which it should have been. There was some positive signs that particularly in the second half we were trying to play the right way but naturally WBA make that a challenge. The change in formation worked which is what the fans have been crying out for. I personally will give Shakespeare a bit longer to see if he learns from that and changes it in the next game or two. If he doesn't and we play badly and fail to get results it's probably time sadly

What also astounds me is the bullshit people come out with so early in to the season.
Leicester wont finish in the relegation zone.
Man City are not going to slap teams 6-0 every week.

Every season we go through the same **** in the first 10 games and everyones mind is made up on where everyone will finish 8 games in <doh>

I still fancy United to nick it over 38 games. Still think it will be United, City, Chelsea top 3.
    Leicester will not get relegated.

Our title win came at the cost of a Champions League last 8 spot and our 2nd highest league finish for about 17 years.

Loving the way HIAG is trying to insist Leicester fans are hurting.
This is a team that was playing in League One a few seasons ago.

In the last 5 years they have gone from the third tier to the PL, cementing their place in the PL and winning a league title in the meantime. <laugh>

I doubt Leicester fans are feeling anything close to pain right now.
    It's party time for them.

I really don't get why he is so bitter about it. Not a good way to live HIAG

At the minute with this slump in form I have to almost force myself to go to the games.

Then before kick off there's a little montage of our "greatest hits" followed by Ranieri and Morgan lifting the Premier League trophy as a nice little reminder that football is actually quite ****ing brilliant.

A pal of mine is a Leicester fan. He says he still finds it hard to believe that they won the league. I've experienced United winning the league 13 times. I suspect even 92/93 didn't compare with how Leicester fans must have felt in 15/16.

Because he knows he ****ed up with Leicester winning the title and then going much further than the spuds in the CL.

Rather than admit he ****ed up, he’s still here trying to pick holes in anything that Leicester do. What sort of chump gets a hard on after a 1-1 draw between Leicester and West Brom ? HIAG does.

  20. Nah, I can't see it.

United, under Mourhino, park the bus against the better sides, whereas City look rampant.

City will walk the title, this season.

I think there are problems with Conte at Chelsea, and I think that could cost them a top 4 spot. I think it's going to depend greatly on how quickly we can bury our so-called "Wembley hoodoo." If we can start winning consistently at Wembley, we should finish 2nd again.

Top 4 for Chelsea will also depend on how consistent United can remain, and how ****e the likes of 'Pool and Arsenal will remain.

I think you must, at this stage be favourites for a top 4 finish, but I don't think it's nailed-on.

Probably not, but it would be ****ing hilarious if they did!
