Don't believe catching the first shot was even possible , but he should be pushing it out for a corner at the very least. And the 2nd shot he should have smothering the ball schemiechel style or covering his near post he did neither. It's not just FF though that needs dropping, I'd start Boufal over NR against WBA he did next to **** all yesterday apart from one diagonal ball to Gabbi for his first goal. Boufal at least looked up for it when he came on.

Although Forster might not make you think, "agile" some of his reaction saves have been amazing this year. He seems to be having problems with the long range stuff. With the second goal, he probably should have held it or cleared it but on TV they were questioning his positioning for the follow up. I disagree with that though as he was just trying to get up quickly and didn't have time to properly set himself. Actually, the scorer should be credited with a very astute finish as well.

There is a very small pond of players to dip into. It's a fact that FF is not Peter Shilton or even an Aunty Amy (as one pundit nicknamed Niemi after a 4-1 hammering at another club geographically close to us). After the League Cup final, one of my favourite comments was that we'd have won had we had De Gea in goal. Well, no ****. Unfortunately for us, De Gea isn't waiting for Les's call, any more than is Antonio Conte. So let's stick with what we've got on the manager, and let him make some tough decisions. Give Sofiane a run of games; give our bench warming keeper a few games; play in a fashion that suits our players which might mean a change in formation. We hit the panic button at the end of last season. That worked well.

Comments that are intended as satire, or not to be taken seriously, are sometimes written in blue font so other posters don't miss the irony.

His rapid acquisition of colloquial English has been amazing. On the other hand at least his twitter account hasn't got moths like some of the players.

If there's one word in football that I could single out for maximum hatred it is brace. It bloody well annoys me. It's from the hunting and shooting [bang-bang guns] fraternity. You get a brace of pheasants or rabbits. You score two goals.

Watched MOTD2 Extra earlier [I've got a bad back] and they mentioned Chelsea and Everton, both of whom are performing below expectations. But it's a simple matter for both. They've lost a talisman striker in Costa and Lukaku, and they can't score enough goals. We have the same problem but we are not high profile enough to get a mention. The club are working on that.

I have a vision of the squad comparing moth collections and gabbiadini feeling left out.

I'm not sure coming from a goal down twice is gutless...

We are certainly missing a bit of sparkle. Credit where credit is due though the lads fought to get back into this game. I’m sorry to say I think Fraser was at fault for both. However in other games he has saved our bacon on more than one occasion. While we all want him to be perfect in every game sadly I really do not think that is possible for anyone. Trouble is an out field player makes a mistake, and nine times out of ten someone can cover for him. A goaly makes a mistake and it can be a disaster.

Adam Blackmore”s comment, “more question s than answers” is right. 2 goals, but I wondered for the first half whether the tactics were to wear them down by making them jog left and right as we made that pointless procession time and again. On the other hand it was better than other games at St Mary’s over the recent past.
I have moved my seat this season. The numpties behind me spend the entire game criticising our players. You might feel that Redmond has been disappointing. Their expert opinion is that he’s effing ****e. At least I am not sat close the muppet with anger management issues who jumps to his feet to scream at everyone he feels has made a mistake. The Chapel has its full quota of pondlife.

Our tactic is simple. Bore the opposition to death. Their second goal was an example of the way I like football played. You don't score goals if you paly football in your own half.
