That's not true. De Bruyne was loaned to Wolfsburg. Came back and.for a half season under moutimho who then sold him in january. So that was "a chance". He got injured but the distinct impression was he was not fancied by Mourinho cos he couldn't defend.

Salah was.bought to replace him and got two half.seasons before being loaned out. Salah played.19 games total for Chelsea scoring 2 goals.

Let's add mata.to the list of players thrown away by Mourinho for same type of excuse.

Cuadrado is another. Mourinho never wanted him so he never gave him a go but he has been decent. He still got 13 games mainly as sub and juve benefited from it.

My point is why call our lad a reject and useless.when Mourinho got a lot of firm for this.

If anything debruyne injury was excuse cos Mourinho just wants defenders as wingers or some nonsense.

good. i hope newcastle finds get a good owner. It utterly scuppers that fake mirror story about that woman who was spotted at game. CLEARLY newcastle are the target and the fear now is a mega rich oil sheilk steps in and we see 3 mega rich clubs at the top.

 

Looks like the papers and people got it wrong saying that consortium wanted to buy us, they were there to scope out Newcastle

 

The fans may end up with a worse owner as the Prem. checks on who is a proper owner are an absolute joke.

The Geordie fans will always turn up to support their club in big numbers but when they have the slightest chance of silverware or even good news about new ownership their ground is full to capacity for every home game.
Any perspective buyer can tap into that plus they wouldn't have to spend on ground development or repair.
Add to that the money in the game at the moment and a new owner would be quids in to start, but it's investment in players they want, can see a yank rather than Chinese or Middle East investors buying Ashley out.

Can't believe they have had so little success in 50+ years, they've had some fantastic players and a few decent managers yet couldn't win first prize in a one ticket raffle.

De Bruyne was one of many many youngsters they bought before ffp kicked in. They had no intention of keeping him, they wanted to use him as a financial benefit later on.

If you want to argue that... they didn't buy him for the first team, he was a youngster with potential. They bought Salah for the first team #difference
