All true. The domestic campaign was somewhat crap but as you say expectations were raised and it was kind of the morning after the night before with the events of the season before. HAIG will cling on to the defeat to Porto after we'd qualified with a game to spare and took the kids out there. Other than that, when it mattered, we had a great campaign to the extent that if we'd gone through against Madrid, anyone unbiased would have agreed we deserved it.
He will not give up on the bitterness/this thread until the day Leicester do go down again. Despite the fact his prediction said next season aka last season so anything from now makes the prediction void

Making the team playing (and losing) at wembley look like a joke.

A proper fan of any club barring the 2 oil clubs and United, would give their left testicle for a PL winning season followed by a season of mediocre league form but with the benefit of reaching the CL QF's.

For a Spuds 'fan' to be popping at Leicester when they've not lifted the title for nearly 60 years, and only have a couple of Mickey Mouse winners medals to show for the best part of the last 30 - is a ****ing joke tbh, and one borne out of bitterness.

HIAG rinsed himself yet again with this thread.

    That is all.

The problem is they all think everyone has a problem with Spurs when it's HAIG everyone is fed up with. If they didn't brown nose him constantly whilst having stiff upper lips thinking we all hate Spurs they'd be fine.
For the record I'm all for Spurs winning most weeks as they are a huge part of my FF team and aren't competing in the same part of the league as Leicester

The reality is that most don't give a **** about Spurs, they win nothing and are footballing beige. Outside of the London rivalries they're viewed with a meh, so I don't know where the persecution complex comes from with them, but it is defo there.

Oh **** off the lot of you....it was give and take at the height of the season before last. Spurs fans v the rest....I don't feel persecuted but there sure was patronising sympathy for the smaller club which led to a free for all aimed at Spurs

Conveniently forgotten by all...but anyway....it's not a biggie for me being sat here enjoying the current season

Btw we are far from Beige....no one talks about Beige.

On here because they obviously take a lot of stick but as I say, entirely down to HAIG. It's the obvious more and more posters have got fed up with him. But yeah definitely a complex

You're hardly disproving the point. You were correct above that the media made pantomime villains of Spurs during the run in but that's hardly other supporters faults. Had it been anyone else top you know full well that the whole country (including myself) would have been cheering you on. This country loves an underdog.
That was at the time though, the issue here and now and on this board that means Spurs get a lot of digs is HAIG

You don't win anything, you've done alright the last couple of seasons but you're not going to win the league, or worry the Manc clubs this season.

You're the new Arsenal. New stadium and the 4th place trophy will do Levy nicely :)

It makes me have a warm feeling that you, Quentin and a few Spurs lads, still can't manage to let a day go by without our amazing title winning performance being at the forefront of your thoughts ... I suspect this is because, unlike the odd cup win, it is universally accented amongst anybody that knows anything about football, that an EPL titlle win over 38 relentless games, could never, by definition, be a fluke ...

So thank you all for your consideration ...and good luck supporting your respective cup specialist teams <ok>

You asked how I was feeling <laugh> ... ibut frankly my dear ... we won the EPL title ... only 6 teams ever have ... why should I worry about our form at this point in the season? What's been decided yet? ... apart from the lastv16 in the League cup?
