carried catts today acording to general peeps on twiter. i've been in the sell him before the arse drops out of his value completely. but if he can find consistent form im happy to try keep hold him a bit longer
Read the whole thread. Cheers Hefty Although the above quote made me smirk. Watmore wins 15 corners..must have been busy.
Steele gave me the fear today, he made one good save but there were lots of other weird moments and he got bullied and hemmed in for their goal. He gives the impression of a notorious mummy's boy on their first day of middle school. I think Stryjek is back from injury now, we should recall him and give him a go.
He was, it was the old Watmore again his injury doesn't seem to have affected him. Got a good 60 minutes in and despite how crap we were in that period he looked a threat and played a great ball through to McGeady who ****ed up the 1 v 1. If we can get our head around the concept that he needs the ball played to feet or to run on to, and not lumped up to him like he's a six foot five target man then he'll be a weapon in this league no doubt.
Tbh I know where he's coming from, he lacks the polish for the top sides but I don't think he'd be bad at Everton or most of the sides in the bottom half of the prem.
I don't mean under Moyes clearly. Cast your mind back to when we were winning games under Allardyce with M'Vila and Kirchhoff pulling strings in midfield. I don't think anyone was on here saying Watmore wasn't premier league standard. Don't forget that we could sign Messi and make him look ****e. Put Watmore in the West Brom side and he'd at the very least challenge McClean for his position.
Cattermole you are ****e and I will tell that to your face boy, get your finger out lazy arse as with rodwell and don't mention Mclean for Christ's sake another player who got away.
You're not answering the question. Can you not think of a single premier league winger that Watmore couldn't compete with for a place? James McClean for example.
You are avoiding the point that he aint done anything yet to proove he's worthy off a prem team status.
If you'd kindly answer my question then you'd have the answer to yours. I think he's at least the equal of James McClean, who is by no means the worst winger in the prem. Over to you.
