The team has looked pretty flat. Bellerin and Iwobi have at least put the work in. Lacazette looks sharp though just isn't getting the service. Good to see Merts on the scoresheet.
Feel bad for Wilshere stripped off and ready to go then Wenger changes his mind on the sub. I honestly think Wenger is the worst manager in the league when it comes to subs. Why cant Lacazette stay on the pitch longer than 70 mins??.. The game has opened up would have suited him far better this last 15 mins of so.
Welbeck & Iwobi is a very middling front line. Wouldn't look out on place at Everton in five years time. Some really mediocre footballers in our team today with Elneny and Xhaka too.
Bringing on ozil and giroud was the real mistake for me, we did absolutely nothing with them on the pitch. Honestly we gambled at 1-0 with bringing them on; thinking we would ride out 1-0 and look to break. We conceded I think 4 minutes after that and we then had the wrong players out on the pitch for me. Really poor tactics imo.
I think that Watford guy is going to be lucky if he doesn't face a lengthy ban for diving. Bellerin makes no move towards the ball and all the contact is initiated by the Watford guy. The only question is whether the referee is in on it, because it is one of the worst decisions I have seen for a year or two. I just don't believe a referee at that level can be that incompetent without some Saudi money persuading him to be.
Cheated out of the game right there. The pen should never have been given and it changed the course of the game. Ozil should have made it 0-2, then 30 secs later it's 1-1. Fair play to Watford for battling on to the end though.
Watch end of the game ( missed pen) but looking at the football played on the pitch hard to pick out the arsenal side!!!

1 thing not sure the saudi money is needed to influence refs against you boys as you aren't title challengers. Secondly what about ozil missing an absolute sitter
Ozil should have buried that and it would have been 0-2 and game over. What followed what a ****house decision, but we should have wrapped the game up 30 seconds before that.
And honestly even at 1-1 watford were the only team pressing. I can't remember us having one chance after that. Sure the penalty was a bad decision, but that doesn't explain us not competing and worse, even LOSING the game.
