Just listened to my five-year old daughter do the kind of fart a fat 40 year old bloke does the morning after ten pints! Bonkers. I had Goa chicken last night and didn't produce anything close to that.
Needs sending to next doors shed and a trip down memory lane before he was famous.. Cold beer tonight but bed soon, it's amazing how you can move from A, B, C, D in life so quick.. Stay cool and enjoy your night lads..
Having a long, long, long conversation with my wife and daughter tonight. Not all bad. Not all good. A good bottle of wine helped to deal with the bad bits. Jury's out who came out on top at the minute. Think I'm ahead at the minute. But experience borne from life doesn't always eclipse youth's righteousness! And I'm facing higher hurdles than I've ever faced before. Finishing this *** now and back into the frontline.
We have Purdey who is a 19 year old Tabby . Just had a thyroid operation . Jasper ( My Avatar ) is 15 . He is a cross between a Black Persian & a Silver Tabby British short hair . He is getting very frail , but while he is happy , we are happy . Finally Toby . a 10 year old Cream British short hair . In the last 3 years or so , he has started getting Ulcers in his left eye , caused by having herpes . Needs eye drops now and then , which is a challenge , but apart from that he is fine . Has a little one at the moment , and , if I didn't know it was there , you would swear he was 100% fine
I also agree 100% about the bad press some dogs get . Idiot " Look how hard I am coz of the Dog I have " People are the problem , not the dogs themselves .
Ours is a 6 year old Bengal looking thing. He was given to my younger daughter by my brother who got him off a friend. The friend had got him as a kitten for his own daughter but she was allergic My disabled lad said he looked like Tigger due to the markings so the name stuck.
Bengals are Lovely , nearly bought one , but went for Toby instead . Such a laid back cat , love him to bits , I know that may make me look like a wuss , but I really don't care . The BSH is sometimes called the gentle giants of the cat word , I know why . Of course they are not as big as the Mainecoon .
Doesn't make you sound like a wuss at all mate. Nothing I like better than when Tigger cones out of nowhere, seemingly, and sits next to me. First I realise he is even there is when he gently butts my knee/leg with his head. I instinctively start scratching his head without really knowing he us there, if that makes sense? When I senses I am doing this absent mindedly he playfully graps my fingers as if to say "hey right here mate" Right pair of softies mate
When I was with my Parents , we had Tigger , just a moggy I bought back in the mid 70's for 50p . Kidney failure at the age of 21 .
Purdey is very much Mrs jaspers cat , she had her for a few years before we met. She got Jasper just as we started dating . She bought Toby for me as Company when I was off long term sick years ago . Even now , if he is on her lap , as soon as he hears my car , he jumps down to greet me . Will tell you about the " Fun " I have giving him eye drops later , off for sunday roast now ( Home made ) .
**** sake boys, is this thread about cats now? Mumsnet is available for such ****>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
