    Great chance to see our more exciting youth players but still name a strong side, no offence to Scunny but we should get through without any real bother.

    Me too, sounds a very exciting player. If not hopefully makes his debut against Fulham. I think he's a better winger than Obertan taking into account their all round games.

    I think we are, he's fit as far as I know and we've given his squad number to Sameobi and he didnt play a single pre season friendly.

    Marveaux eased back into football with the final 30 minutes
    Tiote off for vucki/abeid after 60 minutes too.


    That said, Scunthorpe will be a tough game and I'm sure our team will contain a lot more first team types than we think. I'd have thought the team will be more like:

    Sadly I think we'll play Smith (as if he's unhappy could have an adverse effect on dressing room, and because Pardew likes him), which is OK I guess as he must be at least able to handle a L1 side. Right?
