Scientists have done studies on what causes women's attraction to men.

They showed two groups of women the same photo of an average looking man. They told the first group he was a doctor and the second group that he was a janitor.

The first group gave the photo a high grade in "physical" attractiveness and the second group gave him a low grade... Confirming what everyone already knows, women find rich men attractive.


Another study I recall reading about was similar. Showed a photo to different groups of women. Told one group that other women rated the man highly. Told another group that other women rated the man as average. Another group that other women rated him unattractive.

They found that on average women find men attractive that they believe other women find attractive. When told that other women found the man unattractive, they would too.

This explains fads like Elvis, Bieber, DiCaprio in the 90's... Where it seems every woman seems to fantasise about the same one or two celebs. They're reacting off other women's desires and it builds like a bubble.

They did the same experiment on men and found that men didn't do this. Men's attraction to women has nothing to do with what other men think.


Oh, and if you want the opposite sex to find you attractive, wear red. A global study found that no matter what culture you're from, people found members of the opposite sex more attractive when they wore red rather than any other colour.
