1 pt. 1 penalty save. 60% possession. Could have / should have done better? Right now we're tying with Arsenal. I think we'd would have settled for that two weeks ago, but the way things are going we need to be looking for better.
at least we didn't lose, we have point and we're no longer bottom, so things are looking up, however i think we need to speed things up otherwise we're quite easy to defend against

Was surprised that they took Routledge off for Dobbie as IMO he had a cracking game. Would have almost definitely taken off Sinclair instead, he was very disappointing today. Oh well every point will do but 3 would be nice against Sunderland
dissapointed overall but in the end relieved that we scraped a point. clearly we are lacking creativity going forward, hope this is going to be resolved as the new boys get used to each other, more worryingly the defence looked very shaky at the end, maybe as a result of having to push forward . Fair play to Wigan - they frustrated us in the first half and looked the more dangerous in the 2nd. Vorm again the star - for me crucial that we salvaged something from that game
yep I agree with that. Also I was shouting for a more forward approach, again far to much passing back when there were options to go forward or at least across the pitch. All in all a frustrating game that did my blood pressure no good.
Well a point well earned, clearly Wigan came for a draw, yes they were unlucky not to score tbh , but the swans had more shots and should have made it count! Martinez knows our style though and clearly he knew how to counter us as he knew most of our players. I do think that we need to start gelling our team though, bringing in so many players and expecting them to play immediately to their full potential is not going to happen, roll on our next game
Hate to have a pop at Rodgers but imo it was a mistake to go with the Routledge / Britton partnership. Though both played well I just feel we have a better cutting edge up front when Allen and Dobbie play. Witness how we started having shots at the goal and free kicks after 75 minutes. I worry about Graham. A striker of his quality should have had us 1-0 up at the break. Maybe time to start with Lita until he gets his head right? Looks like it'll be a tough season, but I'm cheered by the fact we traditionally start slowly - and we're now 16th!
With the Arsenal game coming up soon thier loss to Liverpool today should give rogers some insight into how to play them. I wonder which of the big name teams we will beat first ?
also starting to worry about Graham, looks like a lazy log, why did dobbie and allen not start?????? all the possession in the world means fk all unless the net is hit
