Newcastle have won the league four times compared to spurs winning it just twice. Spurs have 8 FA cup wins to Newcastle’s 6. They are roughly on a par with Newcastle just edging it with their trophy count.
I know Shearer is the highest goal scorer but does anyone actually think he's the best striker to play in the Premier League or am I missing a joke?
Is that why a lot of people think Pool are a small club who used to be big? Which is not the same as being big. It's all a load of bollocks. Spurs are a big club...a big enough club for Kane to smash every record going. It's fans who have been conditioned to think certain things by Sky Shame
Big because you won two league titles before you were born? Kane might smash some records but he won’t be at Spurs.
You can call him what you want.....so long as he's popping them in. That's what it comes down to. Best striker in the PL and you are clutching at straws to suggest otherwise
what are the criteria for 'big club'? Man Utd, Arsenal & Liverpool are for me, and maybe Chelsea, I base that on living in a few continents and those are the shirts I've seen the locals mostly wearing. It was a decade or so ago though, so maybe Man City have joined them. Kane is certainly one of the best strikers in the EPL atm, it's just a shame he plays for Tottenham and looks like David Cameron's ******ed younger brother.
Don't know, I'm more concerned about our other striker who can't hit a cows arse with a Banjo. Do you hope he leaves within 2 years? I don't know if he will or won't but that does not detract from the fact that every other fan wants him gone because he is knocking on the World class door at Spurs and other fans don't like to see that.
But, so far there's no end of season product, he's doing it purely on a personal level, at least until his goals bring Spurs some silverware.
But we are discussing Kane....his talents. It's a myth and arrogant to suggest that a player can only be World class if he plays for one of the traditional big clubs.
No mate, just like I suppose you don't watch the old black and white Pathe News reels when talking about the "great" double winning Spurs side.
