Yorkie, thanks for asking about my friend. He is ok, but is now waiting for another clinic to try and work out exactly what happened, and is it likely to happen again. I watched the paramedic at work, and his blood pressure had dropped to a very low level. He is over six feet tall and weighs in at about 18 stone. I could see that he was about to pass out, so pushed him back into a chair so that he wouldn't hit his head. When told that we had to get him horizontal on the floor it took four of us to get him there. Still spoke to him today and he was cheerful enough.
Morning all from a bright and cheerful rural France. I was woken this morning by a tractor running backwards and forwards in the field opposite cutting the grass. Rather different to the sound of lorries, cars and motor bikes that went past the houses I stayed in last week.
I do which is why Brexit is clearly the best option for the UK. Merkel is using vulnerable people like you as pawns.
I doubt any newspaper other than the Guardian would come up with a headline/story like this... How ancient lentils reveal the origins of social inequality https://www.theguardian.com/science/2017/oct/11/lentils-origins-of-social-inequality?CMP=twt_gu
Just had a mail from my ISP to inform me that shortly I will be able to stream their TV programs. Now I am fairly certain that to do that they will have to speed up my service. There has been talk of upgrading throughout the whole country, but didn't expect anything soon.
Afternoon all. I don't know why, but so many people out here go for a few days in England and come back with an illness. I came back with what I thought was a hefty dose of flu, but this morning Mme thought I should see the doctor as it didn't show any sign of going. Phoned up for an appointment, and two hours later was on the couch being told to take deep breaths and letting her hear my best coughs. Diagnosis is that it is bronchitis, so antibiotics, phlegm breakers and sleep at night pills for ten days. Cannot see anything that says that wine is not allowed.
That is what happens when you return to a land full of Conservatives and even worse, ardent Brexiteers.
Get well soon Frenchy, if you'd asked the doctor, she might have suggested a bit of wine too. Roll on the weekend! Roll on Saturday's game!
One of the potions I have is a powder that has to be dissolved in water and is orange flavoured. I employed a guy for a short while who always smelt highly of orange, and it took time to find out that he had a drink problem masked by the orange juice.
