I do like Star Wars and love the original 3 but that really didn't impress me at all. Will probably still see it but was hoping the trailer would be wow, omg but it's not.
They are only showing the first 60 mins of the movie in Sunderland to cater for the locals. They will also serve cheesy chips to them in their pink seats.
Some will like it. Some will not. And they have probably already made their minds up whether the film is good or not without even seeing it. I'm looking forward to it personally. There are a few hints in that trailer as to some of the new character's back stories, but they can't give much away can they so all they can show is a bit of fast action and a bit of who/what/how the **** is he/she/that? I hope they make it darker like Rogue One and drop the gimcky characters and cheesy wise cracks from the likes of Boyega which blighted EpVII. They won't though because these films are aimed more at the family audience.
I bet you didn't even crack a smile at BB8's thumbs up ya miserable git! The problem I foresee is the current blight of Hollywood (no, not Weinstain) of making any and every big movie about family values. Its replaced guy falls for girl (or vice versa), cos in our transgender, tri-sexual society feels like we can't do that anymore.
