Apparently this is going to be Robben's last game for the Netherlands, so they're ****ed going forward, as he was the last truly great player they still had playing.
Robben acting like his ankle's been torn off after a good tackle by Larsson. He's a great player but a disgrace to the game - his diving and play-acting won't be missed.
It's a shame because he is such an ace player. Same with Ronaldo. If you stop acting like a ****, people might like you...
Second half has been England-level bollocks. Nothing happening. The Dutch are well and truly done. Amazing how the Dutch have just fallen apart since 2014. I suppose it could be worse for England...
Seedings latest: Pot 1 definites: Russia, Brazil, Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Poland In pot 1 if they qualify: Argentina In pot 1 if they win in Brazil tonight (er, good luck with that): Chile In pot 1 if they beat Colombia tonight AND either (a) Chile don't win or (b) Argentina fail to qualify: Peru If those above fail, next in line are France. England will be in pot 2. N Ireland will probably be pot 3 if they make it; probably ROI too if they make it (though they're not miles off pot 4).
As I feared, USA is flat in Trinidad. Down 2-0 at half, a quick 46' goal has it at 2-1, but if either Honduras or Panama can come up with another goal USA is looking at a playoff with Australia. If both win and USA loses we're watching the competition along with the Scots. Edit: Naturally, Honduras scores shortly after the above post. If results hold, USA is in a playoff. Ugh! I hate Mexico.
Enjoy the World Cup, you England supporters. I'll be following you from the New World as our lads are staying home. First time since '86. please log in to view this image
Chile's defeat and Peru's draw mean France will be in pot 1, annoyingly. Spain just miss out on pot 1. In pot 2 with us will be Spain, Peru (if they qualify), Switzerland (if they qualify), Colombia, Italy (if they qualify), Mexico and Uruguay. Next in line if someone loses a playoff are Croatia and Denmark (if they qualify). Peru, Colombia and Uruguay won't be allowed to be drawn with Brazil or Argentina - so that increases the likelihood that we will draw them.
Yeah just seen the highlights , if you are a football fan why woudn't you want to see Messi , I don't care if he is Argentine I want to see the best players in the world playing at the highest level
He's their captain! He also plays for my hometown FC Dallas in MLS, and is playing well this season. I actually witnessed a very rare sight this summer . . . a goal by Figueroa!
We have a 20% chance of drawing Brazil. Same goes for Argentina. There's a 10% chance of drawing each of the other six top seeds.
