One of the biggest problems that remainers / anti Brexit moaners have is, they keep saying this is going to happen, that is going to happen, this many jobs will be lost, the economy will crash etc etc etc, yet none of'em have any factual proof it will happen, simply because, it hasn't happened yet.

The foreseen advantages of Brexit, apart from the obvious, like regaining border control and having our own laws reinstalled, amongst many other advantages is, Germany will continue to trade with Britain, they need too for their Auto industry alone. America has said it will make trade deals with Britain, Australia said it will make new trade deals beginning the first day of Brexit, Japan snubbed the EU and said it will begin trade talks and deals once Brexit happens, to name a few.

Other countries will continue to trade with Britain, as will Britain with other countries, we're not going to be deserted by other countries around the world. The weird and wacky left are portraying a negative, demonic and dark picture to try and persuade Brexiteers to change their minds, it's nothing more than scaremongering.

Trade around the world will always be, "they have, we want, we buy" and "we have, they want, they buy", let's be honest, no country around the world are going to stop buying, English Gin, English Cider, British Beer, Scottish and Irish whisky etc just because we left the EU, total codswallop thinking.

We will still have a roaring tourist / sightseeing trade from overseas visitors, same goes for any other food / items countries want to buy from us; and anyway, Irish spuds do make good chips and crisps.

Brexit will happen, make no bones about that, and once it has happened, other countries will follow because the EU, and it's dictators are falling apart, it's collapsing like the Berlin Wall, and we the Brits will go down in history as the country who started it all......:emoticon-0148-yes:

Oh he's around. Last heard of him being corrected by Gove (or someone like that) for being too extreme on Brexit. Hard to make up, really

Yeah and no deal is a great idea.
Good job wiser heads are prevailing and transistional arrangements will lead to us not going.
We are further away from oeaving than we were fufteen months ago.
The only question is how much more than the deal we had before is it going to cost us to get back in.

For some reason, I got sent the Parliamentary Review this week and, no surprise, Brexit was the whole topic, starting with a first page foreword from our PM. Several other MPs "contributed" as did the leader of the EEF (I think, too bored by then to really take any notice).

The only thing I took any notice of is the implementation of a post Brexit 10% tariff that is going to be imposed on businesses to export that doesn't currently exist (again too bored to remember if by our Government or those in other EU countries).

Excuse my ignorance because we don't export but the thing that really struck me was, this was a full blown brochure, written by journalists that must have cost a pretty penny to print and post. They bragged that 50k leading companies got this review but that doesn't include our little business so how many of these things have been sent out and at what cost?

I am not totally anti political but it is this sort of bollox that makes me think they are all as bad as each other and us common people should not get our knickers in such a knot about politics because they are all as bent as each other.

Just my take and, hey ho, feck em all :emoticon-0148-yes:

    Ssshhhhh.
Agent May is tying the nutters and racists of the tory party in knots, and the longer it goes on the more obvious it is to anyone with a clue that we need to remain...

Not sure it will ever be so obvious that chesh gets it but given enough time.... You never know

Er, no it isn't - it's due to no-one(except the Saudi and Qatar) are buying the Eurofighter Typhoon's because they can't carry the "fire and forget" missiles like the Lockheeds and Sukhoi's can
The United Arab Emirates abandoned a £6bn deal for 60 Typhoons 3 years ago and the government failed to persuade the Indian government to buy the aircraft after a fierce battle with France, makers of the rival Rafale plane. <doh>
