I don't think Belgium will be playing with much intensity tonight, they've already qualified. I doubt Martinez would risk injury to any key players for what is, essentially, a friendly game for Belgium.
If that's the line up, then we should have Martial and Rashford on the flanks. Moreno will be inside out by the end of the game, and Gomez will probably be sent off again.
I agree, sadly. Both Rashford and Martial have good feet and pace to back it up, getting in behind would cause issues. I suppose that would work both ways though, if you leave your full backs to deal with Salah and Mane one on one then we will cause problems even with your full backs being better than ours. I suppose that the game could be won or lost like this but it'll probabaly be quite cagey and not that simple, Matic dealing with Coutinho would probably be more important and Hendo not leaving a big hole for Miki to play in would be a good idea. No idea I suppose, we'll soon see.
Tony V has dealt with better wingers than Salah in the past. Mane could have caused some issues, but he's out so that problem has fixed itself. Without Mane, and with us likely to play Matic and Herrera in CM thus dealing with Coutinho, we should walk this one. Probably means we'll fail to turn up and lose to a scrappy goal off one of Firmino's teeth...
Salah With Mane out I'd be tempted to put some bodies in midfield. Hendo Can Grujic. Coutinho left Salah right.
Red Rom unscathed after his appearance tonight and even helped himself to a goal, his 16th for club and country this season.
That's even better than Harry Kane's numbers and without hat-tricks. I expect Lukaku to start banging in hat-tricks soon. Perhaps starting this weekend.
Personally I'm happy with Lukaku continuing to get a goal a game. No point being like Kane and hitting a brace every other week in the games we walk, then going missing when the going gets tough and we need a vital strike. I'd much prefer him to hit the winner against Liverpool, then again against Spurs and Chelsea, rather than scoring three against the scousers then we end up dropping points in the other games.
Never mind Saturday anyway, we'll have to wait until the end of the month to find out whether Lukaku turns up against decent teams.
Gonna be a horrible game. Mane being injured is a massive blow for us, our best player at the moment. Even without him weve been vvreating chances but we have no one to put to put them away and coming up against best keeper and a solid defence, we need to take chances when they come and don’t see us being able to do it. We do defend better against better teams (city the exception). Gonna be close, if it’s 0-0 at HT think you guys prob be favourites to sneak a win, if you go ahead can’t see ya coming back and breaking you down. We have to score first goal, be even more crucial than normal.
