Really? You really think that there will be a civil war in the US? Wow. Do your friends fear the same thing? Anyway, what’s your response to the rest of my post? The gist of which was that individuals in positions of power have to take responsibility for the consequences of their decisions, even if the consequences were unintended.
So basically it is a dating site. Cheers Watford, cant see the point of it TBH what's wrong with going down the pub and picking up a bint without all the swipe left and right?
There's so much division over there. The inequalities of wealth, health, race, education and opportunity are being forced ever wider by Trump and his team, whose only objective is to keep the country at each other's throats. There's grave distrust even amongst families, and people are defined by their differences to a scale rarely seen. Black against White, Republican against Democrat, Christian against Muslim, everywhere you go there's barriers growing ever higher. Trump even signals this by continuing to harp on about his wall. In the meantime, they are busy kicking women off of health plans designed for them by defunding Planned Parenthood and making it unnecessary for health plans to provide contraception. The pharma companies are bleeding the nation dry at the expense of the poor and the elderly. People are being gunned down in the streets to the point where only an event like Vegas actually makes a dent on the collective psyche. The 'government' is headed by a bigoted man-child who thinks the best way to show empathy with Puerto Rico is to mock their accents, tell them Maria wasn't 'a real tragedy', accuse them of throwing the budget out of line (not that he's passed a budget yet) and throw paper towels at them (presumably to mop up the floods). He threatens to annihilate another sovereign state via twitter, and calls white supremacist nazis who march through the streets 'real fine people'. He calls for protesting black athletes to be sacked. I love the country, and speak often to my friends over there - east to west, north to south. all of them say they haven't felt this unsure of the nation's future in their lifetimes. I don't think a tipping point where people take more direct action is beyond possibility. I think that there's an acknowledgement that policies can have positive and negative effects, and these need to be understood and acknowledged, and - where necessary - used to shape policy changes. Do I think it's fair for Stroller to list eighty five individual, unresearched deaths and suicides, and state that the tories killed them? No. Do I think that using such events to score political points and stir up divisions is ever justified? No.
So you spoke to a couple of people over here and think there's going to be a civil war, Ha. Not going to happen, the people have a way of putting things right , voting every 4 years. Trump may be an idiot but he will only be President for another 3 years and then the people can vote him in or out. You should stop reading the Mail.
Because you go down the pub on a Tuesday night and there are five birds in there. Three are married, one looks like Carlos Tevez and the other is a known nutter. On Tinder you spend no money and can effectively throw your cock out there and whichever bird in the local area wants to grab it can do so.
Civil War in the US? Funny thing would be who'd be on who's side? The poor and uneducated vs. The middle classes, rich and educated? - What would the numbers be for that one on each side? Who would be included in each group, Blacks, Hispanics, Rednecks all on the same side? Somehow doubt that one. The Blacks, Hispanics, Liberal left vs. Everyone else - Sounds like two interesting groups to me. The divides and disparaties of the US are well known and have always been there - to have the extremely well off you need to trade off by having extremely poor. I do think that the divides in the US are dangerous, Trump does not care to be President or not in 3 years, he has done what he came to do. He has his 30% backers who will always back him come what may and that will serve him well in the future, long after he has left office. Immagine the wealth you can create by having the full backing of 30% of the population? US is a third rate nation in so many ways and people are waking up to it. Prisons and counties/states being incentivised to jail as many people as possible for as long as possible can never be a good thing. Full swathes of the population denied proper education and health care can never be a good thing. A country where even if you have a job, the only time off you get is a couple of weeks plus national holidays can never be a good thing. A country where (sorry for the description) everything is black or white can never be a good thing. A country that has the obesity that it does can never be a good thing. There are masses of opportunities in the US for in reality not that big a % of the population. The odds are heavily stacked against anyone coming out of a bad birthrite situation. I love New York, I love LA and Chicago and Boston. I have no time for Texas, Kansas or Nebraska. Michigan, Oklahoma, Mississippi? A Civil War as in the olden days? Nah, we've moved on to much nastier wars now. Oh and Stroller, You're wrong, don't dig yourself further, Governments and Govt. officials should be held accountable, you just chose a really, and I mean a really bad and unthought through example. Stan, I'm sorry you experienced the sterile Tivoli Hotel, next time I'll take you to the real thing and cross winds wont be an excuse
After the mini ****storm I brought on myself last night, here's a completely inoffensive link that is sure to get everyone back on my side. The European Commission's responses to popular myths peddled in the UK, usefully listed in alphabetical order. All your favourites are in here....... http://blogs.ec.europa.eu/ECintheUK/euromyths-a-z-index/
Try removing your head from your lower crevice and look around. I’ve spoken in all to around sixty friends, of all political hues, over the entire nation. And all of them know that the things have changed for the worse in a dramatic way. They pretty much all say that friendships have broken down over politics, racism, or religion in the past year or so. It’s prevalent across all states, whether you downplay it or not.
I will remove my head from my lower crevice, I might find you there! By the way I don't believe you have 6 friends let alone 60.
Personal attacks aren’t going to make you right. If that’s the only level you can discuss on, then I pity you. I used to work for an American company and have friends in most states. Suck that one up. Any more unfunny comebacks?
And what are they like in west Windsor, Wats? More ravel's mum than Stacey, I'd imagine? Some might like that.
I wasn't a big Tinderer. Did much better work on Plenty of Fish. Some absolute horror stories though from that site.
