Deffo Southgate, he's obviously more restricted playing for England than his club.

I personally couldn't give a flying one how he performs for England or if he gets picked or not, but if he doesn't improve for club or country he might just find himself not picked for his country and Shanghai'd out of LFC.
He'll know he's not doing what he knows he can do so it's entirely up to him.

Just have a look at replays the ball really moved in flight. Keeper went one way and ball reversed on him.

Yeah he's a **** keeper and they are a **** side but it's still a spanking fine shot.

He must be terrified of Southgate so much that he plays only side and back(a slight exaggeration)

Surely Southgate can't be happy that Stones carried the ball forward more than his captain.

Southgate probably uses that as a tactic to fool the opposition.

And the legions not England fans.<laugh>

At least southgate had the balls to say england have no big players

    He is right

none of them have yet won much of anything. If you look at it

    Hart.. probaly most successful?
Cahill? won titles but would you call him a BIG player?
Rashford has 3 pots to his name already... maybe he will be a big player in a couple years when he's old enough?

    thats about it.

Like wales have bale. you know he's the big player.

Southgate himself should admit he is not a big manager either.

National management is different. He had players like Henderson to call on.

    I'd agree with that.

Looked decent at Sunderland cause he had alot to do. More work means the clangers and weaknesses are lost in the multitude of saves.

Suppose when we bought him there was room for him to grow and potentially become a good keeper, but that hasn't happened. Need to look for someone better and with our defence it needs to be a proven GK really.

So... how Allen was taken out of it by the Irish tonight. One push in the back by that thug McClean and then the hull lad creamed him from the front. Off concussed.

    It's a piss poor game.

Doubt it. The hull lad look like he's just an awkward gobshite. McClean is a great so he could have been deliberately pushing him into another player

Ah well, wales came close. I doubt you will see wild celebration from the England squad that they didn't make it. Would have been nice to draw them or Iceland next summer.

The terrible tackle on Coleman in the reverse fixture made that a piss poor game from then on, Ireland would imo have won the game in Dublin which as it stands would have seen ROI qualify as group winners.
