Seen rashford take about 7 corners across last couple games, think 1 got more than 6 foot off the ground and beat the first man, rest have been knee high and cleared <doh>

How do they find it so hard to take a corner.

England are so poor, I can't see us getting out of the group stage at the World Cup.

theres a few things on corners.

    1. Preparation. Every ground has different sizes and space for a corner taker to strike the ball. you need consistency to get this right. different run ups and no practice = high chance of ****ing up

    2. Quality of ball. Anyone can take a corner. I mean anyone. I can. the ball doesn't have to go far. What you are looking for is a hard ball to defend so you have to strike with pace. When you combine part 1 with trying to strike with pace and you can easily **** up

    3. England.... it won't be the first or last time england pick a forward whos on form to take the corners (kane for example) you want the consistency of striking the ball not the "best player"

rashford doesn't take corners at utd does he?

Disagree. I’d youve for players making the right runs (ie running from outside the box onto the ball) rather than just standing in box hoping ball goes near them, then all you have to do is put it in right area.

You watch Lampard way he took corners, just put the ball down, walked up to it and almost chipped it to the penalty spot. Far enough away from keepers but close enough that decent header has a chance.

lol no offence, it was a really good hit but any keeper worth his salt would have fancied saving that. It was down the middle!

So did Butch(the crab)Wilkins, but he's revered because he played for Utd, in Henderson's favour, he's only doing what the crap manager wants him to do.

    Southgate or Klopp?

I remember him in a season Under Rodgers, the one when he rejected a move to Fulham I think. He was easily the best English MF player that season. Okay, he had Suarez to make him look good......but he looked to have a bright future....
