Yeah he definitely had the potential to be one of the best of his generation. Ability wise he had it all, ashame he never fully made the most of it.

In the current England side the only player you could say is getting near world class is Harry Kane. He is certainly up there with the best centre forwards in Europe today.

He doesn't have as much natural talent as Gasgoine, but I think he will make more of his talent.
