I don't think that they'll have to slip up - even if they win, they will very likely finish as 9th ranked second place team and miss out on the play-offs. The very minute I wrote that, Belgium equalised against Bosnia - leaving Bosnia in danger of finishing 9th... With a Scot refereeing that game, I imagine there may be some complaints...

Interesting. I think no good looking for Slavakia not to have 18 points after Malta at home. So for Scotland a win is a must. And I imagine Slovenia will set up fairly defensive a bit like against England for the first 60 mins. And they do play it quit well. So I guess I'll be hopping between England and Scotland games. Be good if Wales and Scotland join England.
They were saying do Scotland go for it from the off - you feel an early goal would kill Slovenia off but as you say they looked ok at Wembley and still have an outside chance.
Having watched some of the Wembley 'highlights', I'd say they may have been made to look ok by a poor England performance - they'd be mugs to think that Scotland offer less of a threat. Scotland's 1-0 scoreline the other day flattered Slovakia, whose goalkeeper Dubravka played a blinder to keep the score down. I'm no fan of Leigh Griffiths, but to be fair to him, when he pulls on his Scotland shirt he becomes a different player - he orchestrated Scotland's win & created chance after chance for his team-mates. More importantly, they're playing like Watford - right to the end & have become experts at scoring late winners.
