Even though I want Hamilton to win the title I'm most definitely hoping his engine fails on the formation lap tomorrow
I have just managed to catch up and watch the rugby international between South Africa and New Zealand, and what a very intense match. South Africa reverted to basics using their bulldozing forwards to good effect to create their three tries. The All Blacks were made to work very hard but they are brilliant on the counter. Their first try was rather fortuitous, the second was a great interception, the third involved a brilliant pass out of the back of the hand for McKenzie to score. Well done NZ, and as I suspected SA are not as bad as some people may have thought, having run NZ very close in this match and managing to get two draws against the Aussies. It is a pity NZ are not playing England in the autumn. Who is avoiding who I do not know. Yet again England have matches against Oz and SA, but sadly no NZ. I just wonder if NZ will send an experimental squad this time to give their stars time to recuperate in which case we might see a win or two for a 6 Nations side against them.
NZ very much a tired side similar to the one that lost to Ireland. And when Beauden (best player in the world by a long way) went off you could see the quality drop. McKenzie is some player.
Charles Leclerc wins in a crazy race in Mexico to take the F2 title (wearing his father’s racing helmet who passed away midway through the season).
Always seems to be the case at the end of a season, but: next season looks like it could be really tasty. RBR has the pace to keep up with Mercedes, and Ferrari should be in the conversation. Please freeze development over the winter, because this looks like fun.
I don't know that they are; in the last three races, i) Riccardo stuck to Hamilton but couldn't close up on him, ii) Vertappen won by a substantial margin over Hamilton, and iii) Riccardo comfortably stayed in front of Bottas while Verstappen stuck with Hamilton. Red Bull's got the pace to keep up with Mercedes now; I presume Ferrari does too, if they stop exploding/getting dumped to the back of the pack.
Osprey's Scott Baldwin is out with an injured hand... because he decided to stroke a lion who subsequently bit him!!! http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/41642789
If you watch the video at the very bottom of the page, you see he was just a tad foolish. Striker it like it was a kitten
World cup play offs: Northern Ireland v Switzerland Croatia v Greece Denmark v Republic of Ireland Sweden v Italy
Croatia v Greece!! That will make a Millwall v West Ham match look like a kiddies tea party. It will be explosive!!! I just feel someone very, very big will miss out on going to the World Cup. Hope I am wrong and will keep my fingers crossed for Italy, and of course both Irelands.
Started watching the Kremlin Cup (tennis) by accident...i.e. bored. Naomi Broady came back from set point down to beat Lisicki in 3 sets. Good game...well done to her.
