So “Humbersides finest” have opened the gate. Might irk some that the police have more balls than the ****ing council.
If you paid good money to watch all this at a cinema you'd walk out, shaking your head thinking that would never happen in real life.
Yeah he's a lying twat anyway. He told me he preferred the name Hull Tigers a couple of years ago. Denied it the other week though.
Ealing studios could have turned it into something on a par with Passport To Pimlico, Kind Hearts and Coronets, The Lavender Hill Mob...
No idea. I assume they're putting in or going to put in other barriers elsewhere. The gates in the corner of Walton st car park have been closed for a good while now.
It's not been removed. It's been opened. It's shutting at eleven tonight. Have the council given in and paid the money? It says multi agency agreement.
I think the police asked the SMC to open it and then got the fire brigade to cut it down according to a post on the Facebook fans forum page.
Did the SMC provide 24 hour patrols on the bridge? Or have to have public liability insurance to cover anyone injuring themselves climbing up and down the steps? As they claim there will be additional costs if it remains open. Additional to what? And, if they are indeed responsible it suggests that although the council built the footbridge as part of the KC development they do not have responsibility for it or own it. A rum state of affairs all round.
It's rubbish obi sorry. Ch Insp J Glansfield @CIJGlansfield· 1h The gate has now been opened allowing access to Argyle St but only until 2300. We advise using Anlaby Rd to return to the city centre.
Like all good stories it has an element of truth and an element of fantasy. The underlying problem still remains though. The feud between the Council and the Allams continues. It will continue until the Council takes the stadium back or the Allams sell whichever is soonest. In the meantime the Allams continue to make themselves a laughing stock.
I just don't see the council doing that obi. I doubt the Allams will be getting that planning permission through on the property near East Riding pub, can't remember the name, anytime soon.
