Is somebody going to enlighten me then? What's she done that's so good. I'm not on about the Liebherr's in general, just her, after she inherited the club. Has she not sold most of the club now, along with every really good player they've had (apart from VVD) since they got promoted?
Her stewardship of the club has been safe and responsible - nothing more nor less than that. We were in league one when her father died. Now we are fairly well establidhed in the PL, albeit a bit **** this season. It would have been nice if she'd splashed her cash on us in the manner of Abramovitch at Chelsea, but she hasn't done that. But to accuse her of asset stripping is nonsense. Pretty much every player we have sold in the last few seasons have been on short contracts, where the player and their agent held all the cards. We got top dollar for all of them, & have mostly been lucky with replacements. Sadio Mane is the only player to leave who perhaps we we undersold. Some, like Morgan Shneiderlin or Alex Chamberlain, have not improved or have gone backwards since leaving. Some of the business we have done - Luke Shaw for instance - has seen us mugging off the buying club on a massive scale.
You make it sound like her selling the club - well 80% - is a bad thing. Curious why you think that? She sold it because she acknowledged she can't or won't fund us to push on further than what we are, fair enough to me.
All that does is explain why Southampton sold them. I've never said that Southampton are a **** club, all I've said is that if an owner is prepared to sell rather than make the effort to compete then I don't really care about them. It would have been much easier for one of you just to say she no longer has a controlling stake in the club rather than crying about it like this.
Probably yeah. But then why should she invest/risk her own money on a football club she likely never wanted? She's not overly rich in football terms anyway. The thing me and my Archers took exception to is you saying she asset stripped us which is clearly bollocks, and seeing as you've barely even bothered to attempt to back it up suggests that you know it's bollocks.

She's reinvested every penny of the player sales money? Perhaps asset stripped was the wrong term, it doesn't change the fact that during a period where your club could have pushed on to the next level, she sold every player who was making the difference and made you an alsoran. You know I've got a lot of time for you dude but your board has a reputation for moaning on this site, and the fact that three of you have kicked up so much fuss over Tel's throwaway example is testament to that. Chill, if I'm wrong then that's fine by me, have your points or whatever you get awarded for being right.
