Then I think you should look at the basis of the discussion and consider if your comment is helpful or relevant.
What really isn't helpful is the endless apologism time after time. It's a big part of why the Allams have got away with it for so long. I can't believe for a second that anyone could read that latest SMC statement and do anything other than condemn it.
If I was the new owner of the SMC, I would charge on the basis of ****itude. So Adam Pearson and ull effcee, probably two or three peppercorns. But those two twats. I would bleed the ****ers dry.
You know it's ****, I know it's ****, they know it's ****. They wind you in. Focus on the issue and not the daft lads having a bored laugh. Sometimes they really do slip up and then enjoy it, fill your boots ... ... But they'll be back
How come none of the usual window lickers refuse to take HCC to task? You can refuse to give the Allams money, but you consciously vote for the councillors and hand your money over to them. They treat you with more contempt than the Allams because you make them untouchable and allow them to be unanswerable.
Not said by me. The SMC makes losses because it suits the Allams for it to make losses. As far as I'm aware, every bid for the club included the SMC, at least two of the potential purchasers even met with the Council to discuss potential developments on the site.
That's not strictly true Happy. The Council leadership have been sacred to take on the Allams. Inglis is leaving and has put his head above the parapet. Whether others will follow is the interesting question. I suspect if it was left to Brady he'd hope it will all blow over and he can forget about them until the next time.
That's the point. You vote for them. You pay their wages. They do nothing. You don't complain. It carries on as it was. It's baffling. NB: You = the people who live in Hull.
I have no doubt, but bids and talks can be deceptive. The fact is that there is an hindrance to progression and, Maybe, the SMC plays it's part. The potential buyers are only slightly more believable than the Allams.
Without getting too political the council are by and large willing amature's. They do a job no one else wants to do, it's often seen as a thankless task which sort of explains why they go unchallenged. What they did right was building a stadium for two of the biggest local teams and a community sports hall for others to use. The first thing they got wrong was the SMC. knowing that they didn't have the time or skills to run it (or both) they handed over control to business people who could and should do it better. Sharp and savvy business men have run rings around the council, no more so than the current owners of the SMC.
Dunno how to load tweets but angus young saying the smc have a strong case and councilor fareham saying it isn't a prow but have to look at other options.
This is such utter nonsense even for you. Your attempts to throw any distraction in when the Allams start playing up get more and more weird. Have to wonder why it's so important for you to try and protect them.
FFS, this should be renamed the 606 hair splitting/argument corner site. Because you said they only way the council can substantially raise any money if the take back the SMC is by raising City's rent. I simply pointed out that two clubs share the stadium and are supposed to share the cost of running it. What's not to understand ?
Because they have been advised too by the Home Office anti terrorist people. Which didn't exist 15 years ago, things have moved on since and I suggest this topic does also.
Really ??? So a full and proper risk assessment of potential terrorist attacks on the Kcom stadium has been carried out by Home Office anti terrorist people and they came up with A gate? Your having a laugh
So the Home Office and ani terrorist people have decided that the only way a terrorist would consider attacking a football stadium is to approach the KCOM on a non match day when no one was about over that route? Every other ground presumably not been a target as no approaches elswhere are closed on non match days. If only terrorists were so easily deterred life would be great.
