Johnson is so much better at going forward. I honestly don't think Kelly looks that comfortable. He can put a decent cross in, but a lot of times he was just standing on the touchline while someone else had the ball rather than moving into space or taking the extra player away. Kelly for games when we need to be solid at the back and Johnson to play when we are playing weaker teams and can afford to push another player up.
I can definitely see the similarities. However with us the main frustration is from everybody, and i mean everybody seeing that we so clearly need investment in the team. Yet for some stupid reason Wenger has not bought anyone significant apart from Gervinho and now we are going to do badly because of it. He has basically made it clear that he doesn't have the ambition to go for the title and is content trying to stay in the top 4.
Kelly was good today. Great perhaps. Really good engine on him, strength (against Sagna, who is very competent) and very tidy passing.

Can I suggest that you keep it that way for every week, as if it means Reina keeps a clean sheet, and Suarez scores every week then you should take one for the team and finish bottom of the fantasy league to help Liverpool win the Prem.
In my opinion Vermallen was the man of the match. Without him Liverpool would have been 1 or 2 goals up by half time.. Arsenal were a shadow of former sides. There is no point in playing it around at the back and passing through misfield field when the opposition have 51% of possession and you cannot feed your forwards. Apart from set pieces, how many times did Asenal penetrate our back 4? - probably 2 times at best!. RvF asks if Arsenal are the Liverpool of 2009. I can answer that catagorically NO. The Liverpool of 2009 were a far better team than you are at the moment. Too many Arsenal players today were not there for the fight and lacked any kind of composure. I don't know how Wenger is going to do it but he has to work wonders to get a side psychologically capable of winning/drawing against Udinese and then go to OT.
Quite a few people at my work have gone for defenders and keepers who are good but play for sides who ship a lot of goals. Not really thought it through
I've put the Swansea keeper in my goal, my theory was that Liverpool are rubbish at the Emirates and you rarely keep clean sheets against Arsenal there, and Wigan aren't very good away from home and Swansea were great at home last season.
Haha fair point, I had Suarez and Reina last week and Reina conceded a goal and Suarez missed a pen!!

This is how I'd rate our team today: Reina 7 - Good save down at near post and had a couple of long shots covered. punched a cuple corners out well Kelly 7 - Looked assured defending and going forward and almost scored Carragher 7 - Solid as usual, didn't hit the ball long that often Agger 7 - Again a solid performance and kept the ball on the groung Enrique 7 - kept Walcott quiet and had a couple of good runs going forward Henderson 6 - didn't do anything wrong kept the ball moving but provided very little going forward Lucas 6 - IMO didn't break up the play well enough, Nasri and Frimpong allowed to run past him too often. Adam 7 - looked to play people in comfortable in possesion Downing 7 - some good runs delivery could have been a bit better when he got in Kuyt 6 - Hard working as ever but the ball wasnt sticking with him before he came off Carroll 6 - Good header in first half otherwise Vermaelen had the better of him. Seemed to lack energy 2nd half Suarez and Mereiles both 8. They won the match and always looked liek creating something
