El Hadji Diouf was a fan. He used to tune into Rangers games on his wireless and dream of one day playing for his beloved Gers.

Also, what's the difference between El Hadji Diouf and Freddie Ljungberg?

    El Hadji spits, Freddie swallows.

Oh and to any green & grey getting all offended and taking the moral high ground I'd like to point out a few recent incidents.

Spitting - Neil Lennon at Ibrox, celtc fans on Paul Le Guen.

Leg Breaks* - Bobo Balde, Roy Keane

*For the record Diouf didn't break anybodys leg. Mackie did that himself in a challenge on a different player <doh>

Welcome to Ibrox El Hadji. The tims hate you already and that is good enough for me. Help bring home 54 and you'll be a hero.

The only thing I'm not happy about Diouf signing is that he said that he regrets spitting on the Celtic fan!

Diouf is a loathesome ****ing scumbucket so he should fit in well with the monobrowed ****wits who will doubtless chant his name because he spat on a Celtic fan.

Here's the rest of this animal's cribsheet to date.

He has been in trouble for spitting while playing for Liverpool, Bolton and Blackburn, collecting hefty fines and suspensions along the way. The most innocent recipient of Diouf's spittle was perhaps an 11 year old Middlesbrough fan in 2004.
Diouf's diving was brought to our attention for Bolton's winning goal against Blackburn in 2005. His own manager, Sam Allardyce was damming in his verdict, "He's been doing it all his life," he conceded.
In 2006, Diouf was released without charge following allegations he had punched the ex-wife of Senegal team-mate Khalilou Fadiga whilst partying in Dakar nightclub.
Diouf admitted to getting himself sent off whilst playing for Bolton in 2007. He did so knowing that a domestic suspension would mean he was available to play for Senegal.
A changing room altercation at Sunderland led to Diouf threatening Anton Ferdinand. He was sold to Blackburn three days later.

In September 2009, Diouf was accused of calling an Everton ball boy 'White Boy'. He said he was reacting to having banana's thrown at him, although nobody else could see any bananas...
Diouf was sent off for a two footed lunge in January 2010, assisting Blackburn's FA Cup demise in the FA Cup at Villa Park. The victim of the tackle was international team mate, and so called 'friend' Habib Beye. With friends like Diouf.
His disgraceful behaviour in the game against QPR where he shouted sickening abuse at Mackie was the final straw so he was moved on by Blackburn because Steve Kean admitted that he found Diouf "Too hard to handle".

Hopefully he will get both legs broken in his first game but just to show I don't bear a grudge I don't care if it's not A Celtic player who does the deed, anyone will do.

Diouf is just a dirty, cheating ****.

I can see why Old Man Dignity wanted him.
