Last season he had malaria and played on, the season Before when we won the double he was absolute class, on his day he is unplayable and three times the player RVP is. AND tevez is miles ahead of RVP too
It's very rare that you're right but it would appear you're wrong again. All that wrongness must really be starting to irk you.
I can think of that one snap shot which he got on target apart from that he did not get a single pass which put him into space or any balls over the top. It was shocking.
Like i said he had one pass which he got on target apart from that nothing from Ramsey,Walcott,Arshavin and Nasri.
His positioning was very bad - hence not getting any real opportunities. Suarez came on with 20 mins and showed him up to be honest.
Again Meireles came on with Suarez and you could see them link up. Van Persie did not have anyone to do the same. Suarez was up against a defence that was falling apart with kids, Van Persie had two CB's like Agger and Carra up against him. Suarez did not show him up, he just had better players around him and was a sub against a tiring defence. That last clip of Miguel out of breath and not being able to get to Suarez for the 2nd goal summed up the day. Trust me if Van Persie was poor i would say it. Because i am not in the mood to defend us today, but i call it as i see it and Van Persie had nothing to feed on. He is a very good player but he is not special enough to create chances and turn a game on his own against a team like Liverpool.
One tip - lose with a little bit of dignity. Excuses mean nothing - your whole team including RVP were terrible. On paper your team looked capable, but bad attitude and no fight was clear. This thread was about RVP being the best - the match provided even more clear evidence that is complete rubbish.
HAHA if the 'chance' you're talking of is the absolute SITTER, in which there should have been a foul in Liverpools favour, then you are completely and utterly insane.
Looked capable? Did you see the defence after Kos went off. And Arshavin was shocking today and could not find anything and Walcott, dear god he was abysmal. Like i said i am not in the mood to defend us today, but i can't let a forward that had no service take stick. One match does not prove anything. Van Persie has shown that he is class act and when or if he gets the service will be class again.
'sitter' Hardly, he was off balance and had to hit the shot with his first touch to find the bottom corner and he could not. That was his ONE chance in the entire game.
How has he shown that he is a class act? Overrated is an understatement here. The BEST strikers in the league/world are able to make their own oppertunities at times, RVP was piss poor today,
just stop defending him please, you're making a mockery of yourself and your fans. It was a sitter, if he truely was the best striker in the prem, he would have took it.
