    Forget your avocado toast or eggs benedict. In fact, forget fancy brunches entirely. Old school, stodgy breakfasts are coming. And this time, they’re coming from across the pond. American diner chain Denny’s, best known for their pancakes, bacon, and other breakfast-y delights (they do sell other meals though, just FYI), is finally making its move over to the UK. Denny’s is currently looking for area licensees in the UK to bring the chain over for all of us to enjoy. The brand’s starting out in South Wales, with their first confirmed branch opening in Swansea just after Christmas. Which means that in the new year, anyone hanging out in Swansea will be able to get their hands on all manner of burgers and breakfast. Hooray.

    If they bring IHOP over here as well I might as well start paying in to BUPA now and save up for a coronary bypass.

    Denny's isn't exactly Le Gavroche but if you like a big breakfast and want it in a hurry then the Grand Slam is for you. They used to give you a small clock/timer and if you ordered a 10 minute meal and it arrived later than that you got it for free.

    I too went to Denny's in Las Vegas and concur that it was pish. Also went to Denny's in Florida and it was the business.

    Maybe Stephen Paddock went to the same one in Vegas and was so distraught at his eggs arriving over-easy instead of sunny side up that he decided to shoot a load of rednecks out of his hotel window. Other conspiracy theories are available.
